Screams

They fill you up with
nagging,
persuading,
pressure.

No one knows how broken you are.

Just because you never show it,
they think that you're unbreakable.

They don't know that it kills you,
slowly,
painfully.

Until one day,
when you can't take it anymore,
you let it out.

You scream,
your voice piercing the deadly silence,

You scream,
letting them know you're in pain.

You scream,
but they just won't leave you alone.

Because until they step into your life,
face the things you face,
they'll never know you.

They'll never know,
what breaks you apart.
