I barely sleep.. Not because of how excited I am but because of how hard it's going to be trying to convince my parents to let me go with this complete stranger as far as they know.. The next morning I sit my parents down saying I need to ask them something with Jordan sitting on the porch with his disapproving agent waiting to come in and explain how everything will be fine...
Several hours later...
"We need to make a decision Jordan has to leave soon" his agent says standing up from our couch checking his phone and looking at Joedon sternly but speaking to everyone.
"How do we know she'll be safe?" My dad asks for the one hundredth time
"It's a part of my job to keep Jordan safe and with (Y/N) there would be the same amount of protection" Jordan hasn't said much but I wouldn't expect him to.. He said hello shook both of heir hands nicely while smiling but after that he sat on the couch close to me, trying to stay out of my parents line of vision. My dad looks down and takes my mother's hand who is sitting next to him.
"Fine..." He says I stand up immediately hugging him wrapping my arms around his neck. My mother gasps and tries to come up with an argument when she realizes she doesn't have one she gives in hugging me and telling me to hurry.. I can tell she's upset but I'm sure she'll get over it.. After I grab all of my stuff it's nearly 9pm I give my family their last hugs and walk out my front door Jordan is sitting against the car looking nervous. Once he hears me coming he stands up looking scared still.
"Are you sure you want me to come?" I say a little irritated that I've just convinced them of this and now it seems like he's unsure. He has his hands in his pockets and his hood up. I take that as him hiding like a security blanket. He looks at me sad and says
"I just don't want you to be disappointed" he doesn't look at me while he's saying this he faces me and looks to the side chewing his lip nervously.
"This is more than I've expected to be able to do with you I really don't expect anything anymore so it'll be fine calm down" I tell him pushing him back a little so he takes his hands out of his pockets to balance himself. He sighs, smiles, and shrugs before following me into the back seat of the car. As soon as Jordan's agent is off the phone he pulls out of his parallel parking job and drives almost aggressively to the airport. On the way there Jordan leans his head against the seat his hand in the middle of the seat between us where our hands laid holding each other until he fell asleep. I take the opportunity to see if his agent hates me for putting Jordon behind schedule or if he just hates me.
"Hey um thanks for being so flexible with this I know you probably didn't have to let me come" I say leaning forward to the drivers seat in front of me.
"That's all right it'll keep Jordan off his phone and paying attention now that he doesn't have to text you all the time" he looks back at me a little playfully. Relieved he doesn't hate me I lean against the door and fall asleep.
In an hour I wake up to Jordan leaning towards me flicking my face.
"What?" I say aggravated rubbing where I was rudely awoken. Jordan laughs leaning in kissing my cheek quickly and backing up fixing his hair I roll my eyes.
"Get out and help with the bags we're at the airport" he says leaving the car. I look around me seeing the lights of the cars and the lights coming from the busy airport. I slide out of the car on Jordan's side so I don't step into the busy traffic of cars filled with aggravated drivers trying to find a parking spot and get to their flight on time. Jordan flicks me again. I turn to him now paying attention. He's laughing at me and handing me a bag. I scowl and sling it over my shoulder. I take another suitcase of mine thanking god this bag has wheels and follow his agent through the front doors. Jordan yells over his shoulder, through the roar of passing people to stay close. It wasn't going to be hard for to to forget that. By the time we get to bag check I'm sure my arm will fall off. Jordan takes the bag and hands it to his agent laughing silently again.
"Will you stop laughing at me?" I push his arm he shakes his head and shrugs
"I'd stop if you didn't act like "and" act like a deer in headlights" he holds my shoulders
"Breath you're fine" he laughs one last time and begins to turn away except he turns back and grabs my hand pulling me closer.
"There. Now don't let go" he says I sigh smiling and begin to look around mowing we'll be here awhile and feeling safe now that he has my hand and he'll at least pay attention to the slow moving line in front of us. I watch the different situations around me I see a few unattended bags against the wall thinking how stupid those people must be only to be proven wrong when the person reappears to reclaim their bag. I see a women complaining about her slow children, her children fighting with one another and a very tired husband. I look back at Jordan who's talking to his agent the line begins to move and soon we're out of the security check and on our way to the plane. I feel my heart race a little just knowing that this "will" change things. We've never been a very serious couple even the word couple feels weird to say about us. We're "best friends who... aren't allowed to see anyone else" is how Jordan put it but that was difficult to explain to the people who demand explanations other than those people we don't feel the need to explain it shouldn't matter to them. Jordan's agent is making sure everything is set for our seating since my ticket was only bought today. Jordon swings our arms a little shaking me out of my daydream while rocking back and forth on his heels as we wait for the plane.
"Let's play a game?" I say to him watching all the people pass us
"What?" I roll my eyes at him
"A game.."
"Alright" he says turning away from me leading us to the waiting area where we sit. I sit in the chair next to him fold my legs and face him eager to get rid of the boredom. He faces me mimicking my eager face.
"What shall we play?" He says cheerfully, I laugh at him and think..
"Umm.. We cooould plaay.. Would you rather?" He shrugs nodding his head.
"Would you ratheeer...we sit here and play this game oooor go find someplace where we can make out?" He says nonchalantly and with out looking at me. I laugh and push him. He laughs with me.
"I'm pretty sure if we left your agent would hate me and send me home sooooo no" he rolls his eyes teasing me
"Fine.. Would you rather... Have a condition that made you laugh uncontrollably whenever you were nervous or one where you'd blush?"
"Ummm-"
"Time to go" his agent says. We grab our things and walk through the hanger onto the plane. I follow Jordan to our seats.
"Mines in in the back..do not get off this plane until I'm with you" the agent says sternly then continues walking away from our seats. I hand Jordan the bags.
"You sure you can reach up there?" I say as he leans on his toes to reach the luggage compartment. He gives me that "really?" face.
"You're a dork" he shakes his head and sits down next to me.
"A dork?" I say "hurt"
"Yea a dork and ur annoying" I "gasp"
"I am not"
"Excuse me, excuse me I'm sorry I don't know this person and she's harassing me could she be moved?" While saying this he waves his hand to the attendant who pretends she doesn't see us.
"Fine" I say smirking and stand up"I'll switch with him" his eyes grow wide for one second because that's how long it takes him to pull me back down into my seat.
"Shut up" he teases
