Chapter 3- My Fear In Me

On our way to DaringFell, I felt a drop. I noticed the clouds looking darker than usual. I started to panic. I know that I'm a warrior, but I couldn't stand the noise of thunder, and lightening. I began to shake. "What's wrong?" Mystogan asked worried.
"It's nothing. I just thought I heard something. Oh, and it's kinda cold." I spoke confidently.
Idiot. I live in the cold icy mountains. That was so messed up what I just said up there. "Hmmm....okay then. I just thought..umm..nothing. Let's get a move on. Shall we?" He said.
" Yes..we should." As I took a step, I felt the vibrations of the thunder. No, I can't. "Erica?! Hello?!" Here I am standing behind a brush with my hands over my head bending down like a wimp. I couldn't help it. It's been my fear ever since I was little. I always had to do things on my own. I'm not really used to relying on anyone. "Here." That touch, that feeling inside me. This black coat that I feel on top of me is Mystogans. "I thought you would be cold since you mentioned it. I also have a feeling that you're scared of this weather." He spoke softly.
"I'M NOT! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!" I spoke nervously while sweating bullets.
There it was, that noise, I couldn't bare it.
"How about we stop for now, and continue tomorrow?" "No!!! We can't! I'm sorry for slowing you down." I spoke nervously.
"Hey..hey..chill. It's gonna be okay. Plus, it's not like there's a deadline." He smiled.
Even though we were going no where at this point, I felt this feeling, but what is it?
"Erica." He said while gently leaning my head to his chest.
"You don't have to worry anymore. I'll protect you. " He smiled.
I gasped... Even though my journey is starting out slow, even if chaos comes later in time, I will get stronger, and I will fight till the end.
