Jungkook's fingers tapped the steering wheel once... He heard every word every sigh, every whisper.... but his face stayed unreadable...

Angel caught that slight movement from the corner of her eye and immediately straightened up, forcing a nervous smile.

Her heart was pounding with fear...

Angel mind: Oh no... he heard that, didn't he?!!( she thought looking at jungkook her expression scared)

But Jungkook said nothing. Just kept driving. Calm. Silent. Dangerous.

Angel let out a slow breath, whispering to herself,

Angel: We're so doomed....

Jungkook parked his car at the mansion and looked at Haru and Angel through the rear-view mirror, his voice calm but firm.

JK: Haru... Angel... both of you go freshen up and come to the study room.
(He said, opening his door and walking inside without another word.)

Haru looked at Angel with a pout.

Haru: He didn't open the door for us?... Why?
(She asked, confused. Angel turned to glare at her.)

Angel: Because madam wanted to know what he'll do inside the study room, na! That's why!!

Haru: Then... we're not gonna escape the study session, huh??
(She asked innocently, blinking.)

Angel scoffed, disbelief written all over her face.

Angel: You still believe he didn't hear us??

Haru nodded seriously, making Angel look at her up and down like she was seeing an alien.

Angel: Even after seeing his behavior just now? He literally walked out without us!!..( she said her tone whispered but raised with frustration)

Haru: Maybe he's angry because of something that happened at the restaurant... remember? He came to us angrily after meeting someone...!!
(She said quietly, trying to defend him.)

Angel pressed her lips into a thin line, holding back a laugh.

Angel: The day you see your Kookie's real face, I swear I'll take a picture...( she promised in her mind looking at hari blankly)

Angel helped Haru remove her seatbelt, then her own, and they both stepped out of the car with their bags.

They walked inside. Jungkook was sitting on the couch right ankle resting on his left thigh, scrolling through his phone. His face was blank... unreadable.

Angel gulped hard, stopping in her tracks, while Haru walked slowly toward him and gently poked his left arm.

Haru: Kookie... are you angry? Did we do something wrong?!!..( she spoke, her voice was small, scared.)
