The night was still not a creature stirred. Except behind the walls the Dewwick, capital of Westerruff. Within the castle walls, full of columns, maids, butlers, serfs and paintings of pervious King's and queens that guided the human race for many years. The current king at this time of night was awaiting a certain news concerning the king about his wife, Elaine.

Pacing and waiting. Pacing and waiting. This was King Richard's plan. Pacing back in forth in front of a pair of double wooden doors standing at least 15 feet. King Richard was the 32nd king to the throne. He was tall, at least 6'4, a body built upon years of training and welding a sword that shown he was muscular. His brown hair has shown streaks of white hair as of late to signify his coming of old age. Along with his mustache and beard.

In the same corridor was his three sleeping children. His oldest daughter, Princess Diana. She was only 3 years old but had sliver hair the reached down to her shoulders. She sat in between the fraternal twins: Collin and Petra. The had their father's hair. Collin was born first and already at the age of 2 along with his sister; they showed freckles upon their faces. The King loves his children and his people and his subjects.

Waiting was unbearable. He was almost ready to barge in and confront his wife. She has had problems with the pregnancy and the King was worried she would not survived but has had high hopes otherwise.

Suddenly he hears screaming. It load but small. His got his answer. The screaming woke the children from their sleep and even they knew what that meant. The arrival of a new baby brother or sister. A woman in a maid outfit opens the doors with a towel in hand. Wiping away the stains from delivery.

"How is she? Is it a boy or girl?" The King asked.

"She's fine, your majesty. She's just tired. And congratulations it's a boy."

The King was speechless and he tired his best to hold back his joyous tears. The maid gestured him to walk in and see them, even the children followed suit but made no sound until they could see their new baby brother. There she laid Elaine, her sliver hair was drenched in sweat her eyes fixated on her new baby boy who was sound asleep making no fuss. Cradling him gentle with a smile. She looks up and sees King Richard entering the royal chambers, seeing his wife and new son with a happy smile.

In an effort to meet their mother Diana and the twins try to jump onto the bed. They failed until King Richard picked them up and gently laid them next to Elaine. The King next to them and rubs the wife on the head. "You did a good job. Thank you." She takes his hand, kiss it, then placed it upon her face.

"So it's a boy, mommy? What are you going to name him? What are you going to name him?" Ask Diana.

"I'm not sure, yet. What do you think dear."

The King picks up the child and cradles the baby's head. In doing so, wakes the baby and still not a sound only a surprised look. The King then noticed the child's rune on his right shoulder; different from all his other children. However, for some reason it somewhat mysterious, supernatural, and above all a sense of DESTINY.

"I got it his name is Allen Christopher Vanderbilt named after my grandfather."

"It's perfect. Hello Allen, happy birthday." The queen hugged her child along with the rest of her children. That night a new addition was added to the family, The King was as happy as can be.

But how long does happiness truly last.
