Type of case: Abduction

M.O: Targets the child ( 7-10 years old for an unknown reason ) in a nearby park offers the child a treat taking the child to the car and driving to an unknown location. Torture's the child either by wiping or stabbing  the legs and thighs with a pencil or a rope, then progresses to burning the body then dumping it in the park the child was abducted and  leaving the child on a slide at midnight.

Suspects of the case: Charon Vegas also known as the mother of Cameron Vegas, she is known for abusing her 8 year old son the neighbors could hear screams and cries from the house at late hours child services Threatened to take Cameron from her later on it got better but soon after 3 weeks it all began again the screams the cries and 3 months later Cameron was found killed and the was mother was never found and till this day her location and whereabouts are unknown.

Evidence of the mother were found at the crime scene

•DNA on a necklace that belonged to her
• skin found under the boys fingernails
• A lip stick stain on the boys for head [ Color red ]

A killer was not found so the case was closed, until now.

I Luke Hemmings worked on a case for a victim who survived and attack near Blaxland Riverside park.

"Case number 24567 is called into session" the judge called to order the court room. The room stood on their feet "Lieutenant Hemmings please come forward" the guard opened the small gate letting me through standing in front of my seat.

"Place your right hand up" the guard said to me I did so. "Do you swear to tell the truth and only the truth" I nodded yes and took my seat so did the rest of the room.

As soon as I adjusted in the uncomfortable court chair I waited for the prosecutor to ask the questions.
"Lieutenant Hemmings is it true that the man sitting on that chair" he said as he narrowed his head towards the attacker known as Jonathan Mendez a 27 year old Mexican male.

"The guy that attacked Vanessa Ortíz on the day of July 25th, 2015?" He finished. I nodded "Yes the evidence lead as to him and only him" I spoke firmly.

The prosecutor nodded and paced around for a moment before grabbing a folder and bringing it over to me. "Lieutenant is this the rope that was used to hold Vanessa against her will" I nodded.

"Man this is fucking stupid same routine every time, I should grab lunch with the guys if I even make it out in time for lunch, this guy is already caught no way he's gonna get out of this one."

"Lieutenant?" The prosecutor asked again. I snapped back from my thoughts and looked at the rope that Michael had found with the girl. "Yes that is the rope that we found with Vanessa, which also had skin cells that belonged to Jonathan on the other end."

The prosecutor nodded and walked back grabbing another folder and pulling out a photo. "Is this the bandana used to gag Vanessa Ortíz?" I looked at the evidence and nodded remembering how I found the poor girl half naked, gaged, crying

it was a horrible sight.

"Yes" I answered again. "That is the bandana used to gag Vanessa which also had a trace of Chapstick the brand was carmex also"

I shifted a little on my chair adjusting myself to a comfortable position locking my fingers together on my lap and looking directly at Jonathan.

"He would not stop applying the same brand that was found on the bandana used to gag Vanessa you could say it was his 'addiction' that helped us even more."
