Camie's POV

I'm Camie Hemmings, and I'm three years old. I live with my daddy, and he loves me a lot; but daddy works a lot.

One day a bad person took me and left a circle on my tummy. I don't remember how it got there, I only remember the mean man.

I like dolls, auntie Amanda would buy me dolls but uncle Michael doesn't like untie Amanda anymore. I think it's because of June my daddies girlfriend.

Daddy told me he loves her; I asked him how much and he said "As much as I love you, she's my soulmate"

I asked daddy "what's a soul mate?"

"It's like a best friend but more"

I want a soulmate I think Mr. Bibs is my soulmate because I love him a lot like daddy loves June.

Daddy said I'll be going to preschool soon, but I don't want to I'll miss daddy.

Today uncle Ashton is going to take me out to the zoo, it's a saturday and I like animals a lot.

Ashton's POV

Luke asked me to take Camie out since he wanted to take June on a date. I agreed since I barely talked to the little one it'll be fun. Calum is busy with Jessica they decided to start setting up and buying things for the baby.

Michael is at work with Aren working on some case about a guy who killed some random family in sydney. As for me I took the day of so hanging out with Camie it should be fun.

Driving in my ford mustang 2015, I made it to Luke's apartment. Taking the elevator to his floor number 28 I made my way to the door number 123.

Knocking on the door I waited for it to open, moments later the tall blonde appeared shirtless with his belt unbuckled, messy hair and red cheeks. "Mate please tell me you're not"

"Ashton I just came back from the gym chill, Camie is drinking her milk in her room" letting me in he closed the door and I walked to the room. "Knock knock"

"Uncle Ashton!" she beamed as she removed the bottle from her mouth making a pop sound. "Hey ready for a fun time with uncle Ash?" she nodded excited and started jumping on her bed.

"Camie what have I said about jumping on the bed? Remember last time?" Luke came up behind me and she stopped jumping "Sorry daddy"

"I'll get her bag" he disappeared into the kitchen. "Come on we're going to have some fun" I picked her up and rested her on my hip making my way to the kitchen.

"Alright Ashton, she needs her snacks every 3 hours she needs to drink her milk before her nap; she also needs to be holding your hand while crossing the street-"

"Luke!"

"What!"

"I got this mate don't worry" I grabbed her back and she said her good-byes and off we are to the zoo. Placing her in her carseat I placed there the day before I strapped her in.

Now driving to the zoo I looked through my rare view mirror. She was watching some cartoon on the tablet Luke bought her a few days ago, I smiled thinking of the family I could have of my own some day. I looked back at the road.

Just for a split second I looked back again.

And we crashed.

The car flipped I didn't notice until I was hearing my name. My head hurt I was in pain, but at the same time I felt no pain. My body was so numb, like in had just been drugged.

"Shit, Ashton!" I heard a familiar voice, Michael maybe? I looked around I saw blood the window shattered, I tried to move but it only made the pain in my arms worst.

I heard faint cries of Camie, she was alive thank god; the door was removed I smelled smoke. I wanted to scream in pain. Soon my body was pulled out and after that everything went dark.

Beep.

Beep.

Beep.

Was that my heart beat? I managed to open my eyes and I saw my body on a bed, was I dead? I looked around the room it was a normal hospital room.

I heard the door open and I looked at the person it was Luke he sat by my body. "What happened Ashton? You need to wake up and tell me what happened so I can catch whoever did this" he let out a sigh and looked down, elbows on his thighs chin resting on his balled up fist.

I was confused, was I dead? I looked around but soon everything became dark and I felt in peace.

Keith's POV

I was tired of this shit, I had to get rid of Luke Hemmings one way or another. If it isn't him it's the little girl. This man that took my sisters heart her love and compassion, and is trying to get MY family and I in jail and I Keith Miller will not have it.

I will make June come back to us where she belongs, not where she thinks she belongs. That's why I sent Carlos to get rid of that Ashton guy and Camie.

The little precious bundle of joy.

Of course Ashton helped June but I let nothing get in the way of what I want. You could've saved my life but I would still kill you of you were in the way. No matter what.

I'm cruel and I know it.

Ashton is in a coma the little girl was not badly hurt, Carlos failed and there's only one way to fix it.
"Carlos get your ass in here" I called out from our meeting table.

"Yeah, what's up Keith?" he walked in with a cup of coffee. "Why the hell aren't they dead?!" I yelled at him. He lowered his gaze "I couldn't do it"

I scoffed "What do you mean you couldn't do it? It's simple Carlos.Just.Kill.them." he placed his cup down making a loud echo "No it's not that simple, we're talking about a little girl who has her while life ahead of her!" he snapped at me.

"You are so soft!" I yelled at him and I heard June coming through the doors with a gun in her hand. "You're a pathetic asshole" she pointed the gun at me."You're kidding! June put the gun down" I demanded.

"How dare you try and kill my best friend and Camie! You're so cold Keith. How could you? You fucking know how much they mean to me " I rolled my eyes "What is wrong with you?" she clicked the safety off.

"No, what's wrong with you?"
