Zim could hear the metallic screetch from a block away. He lowered the goggles that allowed him to see into Dib's apartment. How stupid was Dib? He actually picked up the phone. Stupid inferior human.

If the Irkens wanted him there wasn't much Zim could do to help right now. He knew exactly what they were after.

For some reason he was not surprised at all when he found out about another Irken. The membrane name was on all records of Tallest when he checked. They had spoke before face to face. Now that he thought about it, it was so obvious.

Perhaps it was time to contact Dib's parent. Surely he would care that this was all his fault, right? The only reason Zim cared was because he himself had gotten a transmission. He remembered it so clearly.

The dumb Tallest had called him and told him all about his dumb purpose and how stupid he was. He grit his teeth at the memory. He had been working with a large group of resistance members. This included cast out Irkens like him. Not to mention a slew of angry species.

"They've got him." The smaller Irken says.

"Yes, I'm aware, Skoodge." He turns away.

"Should we call?" the small Irken looks a bit scared.

"I am certainly going to, she has to listen to me now."

Zim is quick to call once they are back home. She never shows her face but is always a silhouette on a brightly lit backdrop. "No, Zim."

"This is a violation of all we stand for, Miyuki!" He yells up at the screen.

"I'm not dropping everything for you. You're not as important as you think you are."

"This is still wrong."

"I can't stop everything to save one human right now."

He hung up before it could get any further.

"She won't be happy that you did that."

"Well, she's stupid anyways." Zim turned to Stooge. "I don't have time to mess around."

"Why do you care so much again?"

"I don't care about him. Its about the information he has." He grimaces, that whole sentence was just a lie.

"Right, that's why you are doing everything you can to save him?"

Zim narrows his eyes at Skoodge. "That's non of your business." He turns to leave. he's had enough company from another living thing for a bit.

"Where are you going?"

"To talk to the person who started this."

Zim hadn't been here in ages. The house looked the same to him.

He wasted no time busting down the door and using his pak-legs to climb down the steps to the lab. "Membrane!? come out!"

The taller Irken looked down at him. "Zim, what a surprise."

"I've got news for you" He sneered. Membrane's antenna rose just slightly. "The Tallest have taken Dib." He crosses his arms but the taller of them does not respond. "Did you not here Zim!?"

'Yes, but what can I do?"

Zim grimaced. "Listen here, this is your fault. They want him, to find out about you and where you are. That means everything about you. Even your little projects. They will torture it out of him."

"There is nothing you or I can do."

"I have a way to get him back but I need your help."

"What do you need from me?"
