Today was going fine.

Well until I got home that is.

My parents would have small fights around me and my siblings, but nothing like when we walked through the front door. The house was a mess like things were thrown around.

All of a sudden we heard a crash and all of our heads whipped in the direction of the sound. Anthony, my brother, was the first to slowly go up the stairs. I soon followed. Audrey, my sister, stayed down here to start cleaning the mess in the kitchen and living room.

I stayed close to my brothers side as we made our way up the stairs.

I heard yelling from my mum, "YOU KNOW WHAT?! I WANT A DIVORCE". After I heard that I stopped in my tracks. Anthony stopped and turned around to face me.

"YOU KNOW WHAT FINE" I heard my father yell back to my mum.

"GOOD, AND IM TAKING THE KIDS WITH ME"

"OKAY I DIDNT LIKE THEM ANYWAYS"

After my farther said that I ran down the stairs and out of the house feeling the tears rush out of my eyes. I was still in my school uniform, a navy blue sweater with the school logo on it with a tan skirt the ended a little above my knee, blue tights and black flats.

I couldn't run that fast in flats, well, I couldn't run fast period. The cold London air didn't bother me at the moment because luckily I still had my black knee length winter coat. Soon I wasn't able to run any longer and came to a stop infront of a small coffee shop. I stepped inside and let the warmth and smell of fresh coffee beans surround me. I always kept extra money with me so I ordered a coffee.

"Name?" the girl behind the counter asked.
"Alli, with two 'l's and an 'i'".
The girl smiled and wrote my name on an empty cup.

I waited a couple minutes before my name was called signaling that my coffee was ready.

I smiled shorty at the girl that handed me my coffee and said a quiet "Thank you".

I took a seat in a comfy chair that was next to a fire place and took of my coat. I took a sip at my hot coffee as my phone buzzed.

missed call from 'Brandon <3'

I called back a few seconds after I saw the missed call.

"Hello?" Brandon's deep voice said as he answered the call.

"Hey, you called?"

"uhm yeah, I did"

"okay, so what's up?"

"well, I, uh, I'm breaking up with you.."

After that was silence.

Compleat silence.

"I'm so sorry Alli, but I've lost feelings"

"I-it's f-fine" I replied shakily.

"Please don't cry, I may not have the same feelings but I do still care about you"

"O-okay"

"I really hope we can still be friends.."

"Y-yeah, uh, sure"

"okay good" I could sense he was smiling. That's just the small things you notice about a person after dating them for 3 years.

"Bye Brandon.."

"Bye Alli.."

I didn't realize I was crying until the girl that gave me my coffee came up to me and asked me if I was okay.

"Oh uh, yeah I'm fine.."

"You sure?"

"Y-yeah" I said taking in a deep breath.

As I let out the air, my phone buzzed again.

From: Anthony

hey where are you?

To: Anthony

the small coffee shop off main street

From: Anthony

okay me and drey are on our way

After that I didn't bother replying. I picked up my now warm coffee and continued drinking it until my siblings arrived.

Anthony was really caring and protective over me and Drey, hey had green-blue eyes, like our father, but dark brown hair like our mum, he was also 6'0 (I'm American and too lazy to convert inches to cm) He was the oldest, he's 18 years old. My sister, Audrey, we call her Drey. Me and her look very much alike, we both had dark brown hair, that was until I dyed mine pastel pink, and deep blue eyes, Drey had dark green flecks in her blue eyes, where as I had gold flecks. Neither of my parents know where  the gold flecks came from but they say it suits me and goes with my hair perfectly. We are a tall family so that making me 5'9 and my sister 5'8. I am 17, and my sister is 16, making us all one year apart, and I think because of that we have a stronger sibling connection. We barley fight.

As I was thinking I heard the bell on the door ding. When I looked up it was my siblings, they spotted me and started to walk over.

"Hey, Alli, you okay?

I sighed, "No, not really, how about you guys?"

"Could be better" Drey said chuckling slightly trying to make the current situation a little better.

"Yeah" Anthony said in response.

"Brandon broke up with me" I said in a whisper, tears threatening to fall.

"What?" Both my sibling gasped in shock.

"Yeah over the phone" I replied.

"That ass-hat" Drey mumbled.

I giggled slightly at Drey's use of words.

"Well it's getting kind of late, wanna go back home?" Anthony said.

Drey and I nodded in response.

And at that we left the coffee shop.
