Aphrodite POV:
" I'm honestly grateful our other siblings aren't going to be here till dinner. I can't handle people right now." I say to my twins. "I want time to investigate our rooms. To see if there's any sketchy shit anywhere."
"Honestly, same Dite" Thanatos says. "I dont trust them yet. I say we go unpack,hide our shit, and figure out if anything is off."
We all agree and walk into our rooms, and let me tell you mine looked like a unicorn shit everywhere. I ignore the room and set my stuff on my bed.
I start putting my stuff away and end up falling asleep for a bit. I gotta say this needs comfy she would love it. By the time I woke up, it was a 2:03, so my other siblings just got out of school.
After just sitting around for half an hour, I decided to get up and check on my brother's progress. I also have to give them their adhd medicine or they'll forget about it.
I get into Thanatos' room and see he's sleeping with his pillows and blanket on the floor, he has a habit of going to bed with them on and kicking them off a minute after falling asleep, so I take them and tuck him in and give him a kiss on the head and leave his medicine and a water bottle on the nightstand next to him.
However, when I moved on to Hephaestus' room, I brought adhd and anxiety medicine. I brought him anxiety medicine too because he gets a lot of anxiety when he has to meet new people to the point he'll obsess over it forever.
When I get to his room, he's doing exactly what I thought he would, obsessing over it.
"Vanni, I brought your medicine and an anxiety pill too to calm your nerves."I say, and he takes them but still looks worried. "Vanni, what's wrong?"
"It's nothing, Aph." He says back to me, but I know he's lying, so I look at him and say, "Hephaestus. I'm your sister, I know when something is up."
Hephaestus sighs and says, "I'm scared and confused, Aph. we never knew we had other siblings. Not to mention a dad who didn't give us up to that monster of a mother. I don't know whether i want to trust them or not."
"I understand, and I get what you mean. I may not be able to feel many emotions, but I do understand what you mean. i just suggest you take your medicine and sleep a bit and I'll wake you up when it's time to go down for dinner and take some time to think I suggest not trusting them fully yet give them little bits of trust at a time and you can take away if needed. I'll finish putting your stuff away."
After I tell him goodnight and decide to let him fall asleep first before putting his stuff away and go to put Thanatos' stuff away.
When it finally turns to 6:35 I start hearing my brother's come in so I go and wake up my twins. After we get cleaned up i take a deep breath, "you guys ready for this?" My twins take a deep breath too. "Time to meet our "family"" Thanatos says.
