"I don't like this game."

"Trust me, alright?"

"Eren, this is grass."

"Pretend it's lava."

"What the hell is lava?"

"You really need to read some kid books."

The brunette and the raven haired princes walked along the rocks. Eren had created a game where they won't touch the grass because it's lava, though Levi is having a hard time imagining it.

"Eren, seriously." Levi complained, stopping his movements. "This is grass, not lava." He threw his hands in the air. If this is what they called "childhood", then it doesn't seem like Levi missed much.

Eren frowned at Levi's remark as he turned around to face the prince.

"Prince, your imagination won't take flight if you doubt everything." He said.

Levi raised an eyebrow at the comment and hopped off the rock onto the grass.

"See? Harmless. Nothing is burning." If Levi is good at anything, it would be that he's stubborn and hard to move, though he's up against another stubborn prince, and it's only a matter of time until one prince gives in.

Eren's tough, but he isn't invincible. He knows it'll be hard to give a mature person his childhood back, but he also knows it's not impossible. He just had to start with the basics.

"Here, let's do something else." The brunette suggested as he layed on the grass, taking in the warm sunlight and looking up at the fluffy clouds. "Look at the clouds, and tell me what you see."

Levi sighed and layed next to Eren, looking up into the blue sky and admiring the scenery. He looked at a cloud, and found nothing but soft white.

"I see a cloud." He said bluntly.

"Look at the shape of it." Eren sighed. If it was this hard for Levi to do something so simple, maybe he has lost.

"I guess it looks like a shape." A whisper left Levi.

Maybe there is hope.

"An oval."

Or maybe not.

Eren turned to face the raven-haired prince. "With all respect, what fucking cloud looks like an oval?"

Levi's widened in shock. The brunette actually swore, as in "fuck".

"Excuse me?"

"I'm sorry, prince Levi, but no adults are around here, and I'm curious. Point to a cloud that is the shape of a perfect oval." The German prince sighed, ready to give up on this whole thing.

Levi felt a pain. Why? He doesn't know, but it's what he thinks. That sigh and that cuss; it never left Eren before. Was Levi that hard to please? Is he pushing Eren away? If so, what answer is Eren looking for?

Well, first thing's first. Last he recalls, Levi read a book about how a village boy went from rags to riches. Well he doesn't remember the entire story, but he remembers that the boy was able to fool everyone by acting his part.

Maybe Levi has to play the role so Eren can like him more.

What role, though? Well everyone wants me to be smart and realistic... I guess I'll be realistic.

"All of them."

"That's it." The brunette huffed as he sat up. "You win."

Levi's eyebrows knitted almost totally together. "What do you mean?"
