"How about this," mom said, "what if you guys clean up the kitchen and do the dishes, while I go take the rest of our luggage out of the car. Deal?" She asked when everyone had finished their breakfast. Alex swallowed his last piece of his toast and licked the peanut butter of his fingertips, "No mom, I'll bring the luggage inside." He stood up, walked to the sink and laid his plate in it, "there is some heavy stuff in there. Besides, I could use some fresh air after being in that dusty study earlier." Lilly shrugged and glanced at Alex who looked a little pissed at her. "It still hurts, you know," rubbing his head, he walked out of the kitchen and went outside.

The front door was making less noise then yesterday, mom had put some oil on the hinges.

The birds were singing beautifully and the sun was shining bright. Alex took a deep breath in and exhaled slowly with his eyes closed, he loved the smell of the forest. Almost as much as the smell of baked bread, wood and freshly mown grass, that's his favorite one. He stepped down from the steps into the soft grass and walked towards the car. Looking around, he saw the house was indeed surrounded by a large forest. There was a big garden too with a little fountain in the middle. There wasn't any water streaming out of it though. The orange lights of the car blinked as he clicked on the button of the car keys. He first took the heavy big cases out of the car and placed them inside. Than some smaller ones. He found Fluffels' cage and more books of Lilly in the bottom of the trunk. He laid those inside and walked back outside to see if he forgot anything. It seemed like he got all of the luggage so he just sat down in the driving seat for a minute, hands on the wheel, pretending he could actually drive the thing. Making heavy car noises with his mouth, foot ready on the break. He looked out of the window and suddenly saw something moving, right in front of him, further away in the forest. He stopped making the noise and squeezed his eyes to slits so he could see better. But it was too far away from him, he just saw something dark and tall, but couldn't tell what it exactly was. Then suddenly it disappeared behind the trees. Was it a man? Possibly. The thing is, they didn't have any neighbors.
