I like using timeskips to distance important events in my stories, so expect to see a lot of them, especially here.

Chapter 4: "The thing inside me was my wolf."
Two shadowed forms sat watching the quiet neighborhood, their efforts especially focused on the house in front of them, where their person of interest had just gone into with their mate. The smell coming off of the two was so potent, the two wolves got a strong whiff, even from way up here in the trees.

The first, taller wolf covered its nose with a huge paw, cursing bitterly. "Spirits, that shit stinks. I hate that smell."

The other wolf chuckled, a pleasant rumble deep in the hybrid's chest. "Aw, shut up, you grouch. You only hate it because you don't have a mate yet. Anyway, you need to get used to it. It's almost time for the full moon, so you'll be smelling it a lot more."

The first wolf groaned. "It's my personal hell. Fuck the full moon."

The younger wolf continued to laugh, but quickly sobered, looking back at the home the two teens were in. "It'll be worse for those two as it gets closer. The longing for each becomes nearly unbearable." The smell intensified.

"You know what that means," the elder prompted, staring down at the house with a serious look on his rough features.

"She'll Awaken fully. That's gonna be hard for the both of them. I hope their relationship survives."

The older wolf placed a paw comfortingly on the other's shoulder. "I'm sure it will. Now, come on," he said, shifting back to human form and getting to his feet before jumping down to the grass below. He brushed some dry leaves out of his messy brown hair as the younger landed gracefully next to him, shaking out her long red hair. "They should be about to head back to the school, and we need to switch places with Kyleigh and Atlanta."

The female nodded, her grey eyes flashing briefly in the sunlight. "Let's go."

I think something's seriously wrong with me. Other than the other stuff, something's wrong, and it has to do with Aries.
