Dear @AliceLiddell14 so so so sorry that this took so long! I've been experiencing some writers block and having to deal with school. Thankfully, it's winter break and I can focus on my writing. Again, so sorry that this took such a long time, and hopefully you are still gonna read it. I have to be honest when I say this, but I lost motivation for this one and kinda forgot about it. Then I saw how many people were liking my unwind fics and I couldn't let my fandom down.
Thank you to all of you who read, vote, & comment you are what drives me to finish my stories.
"Oh Haaaaaaydeeeeen," Connor spoke in a sing-songy voice. Hayden perked up from where he sat on the computer, listening intently. Connor never talks like that, he thought. He must be planning something. He hopped up from his chair and looked around the room for a place to hide.
His eyes scanned the small space until they fell upon a tiny closet. He smiled to himself and made his way to the door. He quickly covered himself with old clothing and locked the closet back when he heard approaching footsteps.
"Damn it, I could've sworn he was in here!" Connor said. Lev shrugged, "He's too lazy to actually leave." It took all that Hayden had to not protest to that as he lay under mountains of clothes. He held his breath, not daring to move a muscle.
His heart stopped when he heard the doorknob turn slowly. He burrowed deeper into the mounds of clothes, hoping to remain unseen.
He froze, listening intently for the sound of the door to shut. Just when it seemed safe, he heard Connor's voice. "Wait, what's that?" he asked when he saw the unnaturally large sized lump of "clothes."
Connor smiled when an idea struck him. "I think there's a chair under here." Lev gave him a strange look, but soon caught on. "Yeah,bi think you're right. You might wanna sit down, just to make sure though." The grin on his face matched Connor's.
Without any warning, Connor flopped down onto the clothes. "Shit! Ah, get off me you jackass!" Hayden called from beneath him.
"Hayden?" Connor faked sounding shocked. "What on earth are you doing in the closet? I thought we told you that if you're gay, it's okay to come out," he joked. Hayden pushed at his back, "You're attempts to make puns suck, now get off!"
"I am truly hurt by that, but I shall comply," Connor said, getting up and offering a hand to Hayden. "So, why were you hiding?" Connor asked with a knowing smile.
"You never call my name like how you did, and I figured I probably had messed something up," he explained truthfully.
"Yeah, well I wanted to ask you something." Hayden tilted his head, much like a puppy. "Ok, shoot."
Connor advanced without warning, taking Hayden off guard. He tried to back up, but stumbled over his own feet and fell on his butt. Connor waisted no time in straddling him, pinning his hands under his knees. "Tell me: why do you lie?"
"Me? Lie? Connor Lassiter, I am appalled by this accusation!" Connor raised one amused eyebrow, "Oh really?"
"Yes! Now get offa me!" Connor tsked, "I don't think I can do that. You see, I'm quite comfortable." As if to emphasize his point, he pushed his weight into him, wiggling around.
"Oh my god Connor!" he all but wheezed out. "Yes dear?" he played along, wanting to string this out as long as possible. "You weigh a fucking ton, you're crushing me!" Now it was Connor's turn to act offended.
"Excuse you little shit! You better take that back!" Hayden took a moment to contemplate. "Hmm let me think. Nope!" Lev shook his head, "Wrong choice."
Before Hayden could even open his mouth to form a question, Connor had dug into his sides. Hayden let out a surprised squeal and tried desperately to get away.
"Connor, this isn't fair, c'mon! Please just let me up, I'll leave you alone I swear! Just don't tickle me!"
"Too late!" And he wiggled his fingers into his sides, emitting a scream from the boy underneath him. Hayden bucked upwards, almost knocking Connor off him.
"Whoa! Lev, little help?" Of course he would've been an idiot to say no, so he complied, pinning Hayden's arms over his head.
"Nononono Lev, buddy, c'mon! I didn't do anything to you!" Hayden tried pleading. "True," Lev contemplated, "Except for all the times you made fun of and teased me!" Hayden let out a squeak before falling into helpless laughter as both of his so called "friends" wiggled their fingers all over his torso.
"Oh gahahahad stahahahap it!" he laughed frantically, trying to get free. "Apologize and we'll stop," Connor bargained.
"Whahahahat? No wahahay!" Hayden's stubborn side won out. "Well then, we'll just have to make you see reason. And oh how they did.
"Alrihihihihight! I'm sahaharry!" Hayden had the happiest and dorkiest, most infectious laugh ever, and Connor and Lev couldn't help but to laugh along with him. "What do you think? Has he had enough?" Lev asked, slowing his fingers down to give him a small break, Connor still keeping him giggling. "Probably so. Think he'll pass out if we continue," he said, noticing the dark shade of red he had turned.
"Assholes," he breathed out between gasps for air and residual laughter. Connor gave him a pointed look, wiggling his hands over his stomach causing Hayden to yelp and roll away. Connor smiled.
"Don't ever mess with me again." Hayden pointed a finger at him, "Lesson," gasp, "learned." Both of his attackers laughed good-heartedly, earning themselves each a kick. It wasn't long before helpless giggles filled the air once more.
