Chapter One
The heavy dry wind roughly brushed my hair , as i watch the sun sets . I've been traveling for two months hoping i will find survivors.
I found an abandoned house, I stayed there for three days but I must move on because I'm not alone , They are there waiting for me.
It's been 6 months since the world turned into a downfall of terror. It all started to this so called Xalted Corporation. They built the hospital 9 months ago around December 2012 . It was owned by a scientist named Richard Hawkwood. The hospital was used for making experiments. They use dead body of humans for their experiments. August 13th ( 2013 ) , Dr. Hawkwood announced he's clossing the hospital.
From what i heard , Dr. Hawkwood's son died. December 14th 2013 , 6:15am . As I woke up I heard people screaming, crying for help. I looked outside my window. I saw people attack their own kind , eating them with no mercy. I grabbed my jacket and ran outside my room. I saw my mom bein eaten alive and she screamed for my name , " Run ! Lois Run ! Save yourself ! " , I couldn't move a muscle . A guy covered with blood grabbed my arm and i pushed him real hard and ran outside the house , I ran as fast as I can .
I heard people crying for help , screaming while being eaten by their own kind. I ran that I don't even realize i was out of breath already. Luckily , My uncle found me . He honked at me and signaled me to get inside his car .
Are you ok ? , he asked me while he drives . I wiped my tears and nodded .
We stopped at my uncle's safe house. He is a hunter, he owns alot of guns and other weapons. " We're gonna stay here for the night and we'll drive to your dad's location" , I nodded once again and trying not to cry.
" Lois ! , your crying wont do anything ! what's happening right now is real " , he was squeezing my arm and he bowed his head down and started crying .
I killed them ... I killed your cousins and your auntie , they turned into one of those fucking monsters. I fucking killed them Lois ... I held his hands and I cried and he hugged me.
December 16th , 10:34am , we were driving in a free way . My uncle gave me one of his bow and arrows. I always go hunting with him since I was 10 . He taught me how to hold a gun and how to shoot. But this time , we're not hunting or killing an animal but to kill a human.
A month later , my uncle left me . He died , actually I killed him , I have to ...
He told me , " Never trust anyone just keep moving on and don't stop " . I shot him on the head before he turned into one of those walkers.
And now my journey begins and I will end what had started.
I won't fail you uncle .
