it was after the concert. kenzie waited patiently in the room the security guard brought her to. she was still buzzing from all the craziness of the concert and was so excited and nervous that she was shaking.
just as she was about to sit down on the couch in the corner of the room, she heard the familiar laugh and her heart started pounding. that's when it happened. the familiar curly haired boy walked into the room.
without even thinking kenzie ran over to him and jumped into his already open arms, wrapping her legs around his waist. her face was buried in his neck and his in hers.
ashton then lift his head and said,
"hi sunshine." the curly haired boy put her down and took her hand in his.
"hey ash," kenzie said, looking straight into his hazel eyes and smiling like an idiot, "so what about that kiss i was promised, irwin?"
