Chapter 1 - All Alone

Alfie's POV

I woke up to the sound of water dripping. I slowly opened my eyes. All I saw was a single light bulb hanging above me. I looked around the cold, damp room. Then I realized, 'Where is Zoe?' Then I heard footsteps. I closed my eyes quickly, pretending to still be knocked out. The voice said, "Alfie wake up now or else...." I opened my eyes and looked at the figure. And I couldn't believe who it was. Niomi.

"Niomi, what on Earth are you doing?" I was really confused of the sight my best mate's girlfriend kidnapping me.

'"Well, it's really simple Alf, I have always wanted to be with you, ever since I started dating Marcus. The day I got the courage to dump Marcus and get with you, well that's the day you uploaded the video stating that you and Zoe finally became 'Zalfie'. Alfie, you don't understand how heart broken I was. I still want to be with you. But I couldn't because of that Zoe. So I want you to break up with Zoe and be mine. We can finally be Nalfie." I couldn't believe my ears.

"What if I say no?" I say, really scared of the answer to come.

"The I will kill your family. Olivia, Annie, and your beloved Zoe. But remember, if it comes to that you will always have me." I close my eyes and thought of my girls. The I felt lips on mine, and my arms being untied. The kiss became more and more heated, until it happened. After I realized I just cheated on Zoe. I felt myself being tied up again.

"Alfie, you have one week to decide. Leave Zoe and be with me, or I kill your family. Either way you will be mine. And don't worry, that won't be our last encounter like that." She said, winking at the last part. I shivered as she walked out. I need to escape with my family and we need to leave the country. But how will we do that? I need to find a way to save my family. But then I realized, I'm alone. All alone.
