Marcos motioned for Freddy to sit as soon as they shook hands, glad to see him.

"Marcos it is good seeing you. Tell me how can I be of service?" Freddy asked.

Freddy came immediately after he received the summons from Joe. It had been a long time since he last talked to Marcos, and even rarer for him to be summoned as an urgency.

"I understand you were friends with Jorge Jimenez?" Marcos cut to the chase.

"Yes, I suppose we were friends."

"Do you know something about his family?"

Freddy eyed him suspiciously.

Why the interest he wonders.

"Well I guess I don't understand the question," He raised his shoulders slightly.

"El Gallo."

"Oh, well it's done. Everything is taken care of," Freddy made a gesture wiping his hands.

"What is? The bill?" He asked incredulously.

Who paid it, how?

Marcos thought as Freddy nodded. "The whole 50?" He sounded baffled.

"No," Freddy shook his head confused. " There was a new deal which has taken care of of the outstanding debt." Freddy wasn't sure if he should say the rest.

"What new deal?" He slammed his fist on the table lightly, still the table shook.

Freddy looked him straight in the eye, grabbed a cigarette from his pack, and began to light it.

"Look I'm not sure if you should be privy to this information," Freddy began.

"Freddy, this whole neighborhood is my business. I need to be privy of what deals are being done."

Freddy took a drag of his cigarette, "You were gone three years Marcos, things are changing."

"What was the deal?" Marcos was loosing his patience.

"The girl is the new deal," Freddy said as a matter of fact.

Something in Freddy's eyes showed his displeasure. Marcos stared at him for what seemed an eternity as the information processed.

How if Eva had been in here less than 2 hours ago asking for help?

"They just picked her up now," Freddy answered his thought. "She was in the train station leaving with her brother," Freddy said as he noticed Marcos' mind working.

"Who made this deal?"

Freddy smiled sardonically, "Her mother."

"She sold her daughter for 50,000!" He almost roared.

"Yes."

Marcos ran his hand through his hair. "Where are they taking her?"

Freddy shrugged. "El Gallo has a new company he's branching out. Young girls are needed from what I understand," He inhaled.

Marcos face paled at that. Suddenly Freddy got a call and answered after the 3rd ring. He looked at Marcos looking a bit disturbed.
