Peyton:
One of the girls with long black hair looked at me suspiciously.
"Where were you last night? You totally ditched Evan Hansen's party."
"Yeah, Alex is right, where the hell did you dissapear off to? Did you meet a guy?" Asked a second girl, with blond hair and green eyes.
A third girl with short carmel brown hair and brigh blue eyes chimed in.
"Alex.  Kenzie.  Stop bombarding Sam with questions.  Its effing annoying, jeez."
"Shut up Caitlyn, I wanna hear this."
Well, now I knew three of their names.  I decided to give them what they wanted.
"I had too much to drink and felt bad, so a cab took me home."
A fourth girl said:
"There weren't any drinks except Dr. Pepper.  Evan's mom was home the whole time."
"There were if you knew where to look," I said matter-of-factly, and just like that, the conversation was over.
I looked around the house and saw a family picture on the wall, a picture of Sam, her adoptive parents, and one of the girls I was sitting with! Sam had an adoptive sister! She had reddish-blond hair and blue-green eyes.  As i was trying not to stare she started to talk.
"Who wants to play poker? I have a deck of cards in my room, I'll be right back."
The other girls said things like "Whooo!! Go Lauren!"  That meant the Asian girl with angular features had to be Sophia, the last name on Sam's group message.  I had to get up to Sam's room, now.  I told Sam's friends that I still felt sick after last night's party and ran upstairs.  Now all I had to do was find Sam's room in the huge house.
