Well, today's the big day.... I'm finally cleared to play! Today we're facing the New York Riveters! Bo had a game earlier today, so after the game he texted me,

Hey, what's wrong?

It's nothing, I'll tell you after your game. I'll be cheering for you! I bought your jersey too!

Aww, thanks! I'll try my best!

2 - 2. We're in the shootout. I'm going. If I score, we win, if I don't, we keep going. I head towards the right wing, before I get to the circle, I head in toward the net backwards, and the goalie was so focused on me, I tucked it in before she even noticed. I won us the game! My teammates spilled over the bench to hug me.

After the game, I waited for Bo. He congratulated me and we went outside. He stopped me and looked at me with the saddest eyes possible, "my mom died.. I got the call when I woke up.." I looked at him in shock, I couldn't help but hug him and rub his back. He was full of tears, crying into my chest. I heard the door open, and Gabbie and Tyler came out, they looked at me in fear and asked, I looked at Bo and asked, "is it OK if I tell them?" " Yeah, definitely.. " Tyler looked at me." His mom died, he got the call when he woke up this morning.. We all gathered in a group hug, we all showed Bo we cared about him and that we were there for him.
