We placed him back in bed as he was fast asleep once again. Zoe, Fae and I went into the kitchen and made a pot of tea. We all sat around the table unable to sleep from the events which had occurred. Zoe's hand trembled as she poured herself a hot cup of tea.
"Here I will do it." I urged as grabbed the teapot from her hand. She nodded and nibbled some of her biscuit.
"We need to tell her." Fae said to me telepathecially. I thought about it for a few moments about how it might break her heart that we had turned... well I had turned, one of her best friends into a vampire. Unintentionally of course. "I will tell her." I replied as I turned towards Zoe and looked her straight in the eyes.
"Zo, there is something that you need to know..." I started as my voice trailed off. Zoe looked petrified, her hands began to tremble more and her lips quivered.
"Zoe. I am so sorry but Casper is not... he is not.... He is not human anymore..." I said, getting the guilt of hiding that secret off of my back. Zoe was shocked and the teacup fell from her hand and bounced off the table, splattering hot tea everywhere.
"What?" Zoe exclaimed her voice wavered, "But Fae healed him! I saw It with my own to eyes!" She shouted at me from across the table, anger filling her voice.
"How could you let this happen! How could you be so careless!" She screamed at me as she began to sob. A light flickered on in the hallway and her mom walked in. She saw Zoe crying and sent us both to bed as she comforted her. I did not know if I could trust Zoe with her mom after what just happened as she was in such a emotional state. We headed upstairs to our room, like children sent to bed after just getting in trouble. Fae would not say a word to me as I think that she was partially disgusted in what I had done and maybe, just maybe, thought that I had intentionally done it. We entered the room and Fae sat down at her desk and took out a notepad and pen while I sat on the windowsill. Fae scribbled down furiously as she tried to create a spell that could undo what I had done.
"Fae, look I didn't do it inten-" I began as I was interrupted by Zoe storming into the room, her eyes red from all the crying she had done. I went over to her and sat down. I stroked her smooth hair as I tried to calm her down.
"Fae, I didn't mean to transform him intentionally." I confessed as Fae scrunched up a piece of paper and through it into the metal bin. She spun around in her chair and looked at me her eyes wide in surprise.
"I know." She replied as she spun herself back and started writing some more. I was glad that Fae understood that I didn't mean for this to happen but Zoe was going to be harder to convince. I sat her up straight and looked her straight in her chocolaty hazel eyes. I made my eyes red as I stared into hers.
"What are you doing!" Fae exclaimed as she saw me looking straight into her eyes, mine red.
"What does it look like I am doing!" I replied, trying to concentrate on what i wanted her to forget.
"You can't do that!"
"Watch me." I looked straight into her eyes and compelled her to believe that it was all an accident and that I didn't mean It , which was much easier then having to convince her. Fae looked at me disappointed as I laid Zoe down to sleep, tucking the blanket in around her.
"You shouldn't do that." Fae muttered under her breath.
"Look, I felt like I had no other choice Fae." I grumbled at her as I went back over to the windowsill.
"You always have a choice." Fae said bitterly. I stared at her as she continued to make up a spell that would reverse Casper's transformation. I stared at Casper from across the room as his black hair covered his face, limp and lifeless. His pale skin looked like porcelain which could easily be broken if touched. I walked over and sat down in the bed next to him. I stroked his smooth, soft skin and climbed into bed next to him. I wrapped my arm around him as I realized that this was probably the last time I would get to do this as if he was to be transformed fully Into a vampire that he would never sleep again. A tear fell down my cheek as I realized that what I had done would transform his life forever.

I woke up with the sun blaring into my eyes. I must have been so weak from the compulsion that I had preformed on Zoe that I fell asleep. I turned around to see Casper wide awake in bed next to me.
"Casper?" I said as i sat up, "Are you okay?"
He stared at me, his eyes looking deep into my soul. He stroked my face and twirled my hair.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, happy that he seemed to still be acting like himself.
"Strange. There Is a strange tingling sensation in my-"
I didn't want to hear the end of that sentence so I kissed him on his lips. That shut him up. He moved his arms down my chest and grabbed me by my waist, pulling me on top of him. We kissed for a few minutes until I realized that Fae had walked in with breakfast for us and was standing next to the bed looking horrified.
"Oops." Casper said as he sat up in the bed next to me, "You weren't meant to see."
"I bloody well hope I wasn't!" Fae said as she handed the tray to me. Casper cut a piece out of one of the pancakes and fed it to me. Fae sat at her desk still trying to write the spell out.
"What's up with her?" Casper asked, pointing to her as she sat at the desk.
"Casper there is something you need to know..." I said my voice fading in the sound of Zoe snoring at the other side of the room.
"What is it?" He asked, placing the tray on the floor, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine... but... but your not Casper..." I whimpered as a tear fell from my cheek. Casper wiped away the tear ad looked at me straight in the eyes.
"It doesn't matter whats wrong with me, as long as I am still with you it doesn't matter." I weeped quietly, snuffling a little as Casper was so positive in the situation even though he didn't know whats wrong.
Fae butted into our conversation,
"Casper your not human anymore." She stated whilst still writing. Casper's eyes widened as this was not the news he was expecting. He stared at me in surprise as he got up out of the bed and started pacing the room.
"Casper..." I began.
"What happened Dawn? What am I now!" He demanded with his fists clenched.
"Casper, your transforming into a vampire..." A look a sheer terror filled his eyes as he tried to digest what I had just said.
"HOW COULD YOU HAVE DONE THIS TO ME!" He roared at me, resisting the urge to throw a punch.
"Casper I guess you don't remember anything about last night..."
"Trust me I remember! How could I forget!" He said as he stormed out of the room. I chased after him down the staircase,
"Casper just please don't get mad, Fae is trying to write a spell that can reverse your transformation."
Casper was to mad to listen to me, he grabbed the doorknob and went to twist it but he suddenly stopped in his tracks,
"I just need time Dawn." He said as he flung the door open to find Tanya standing there with a bag of shopping.
"Casper! I didn't know you had stayed the night." She said whilst struggling to carry the bags.
"I didn't intend to." He said as he nudged past her, knocking her and the shopping over onto the ground. I rushed to Tanya's side and helped her repack everything. When I had finished helping her Casper was gone but if he was gone and the sun was up that could mean that he could burn alive.
