Zoe walked in carrying our breakfasts. She woke Fae up with all the noise, who was confused about where she was and how she got there. She started to panic so I jumped out of bed and rushed to her side, I tried to calm her down. She eventually calmed down and got to grips with her surroundings.
"How did I get here?" She asked.
"How do you think you got here?" Casper scoffed, "If you had one more brain cell it would probably be lonely."
"Your sarcasm is not helping." I growled back at him.
"Its okay Fae, I will explain later after you have eaten."
After Fae had eaten we went and got ready for school.
"What really happened." Fae questioned. I didn't know whether to tell her or not what had actually happened as the truth would hurt a lot more then a lie. Fae had turned for a few moments last night, tenebris. Tenebris was a rare state that witches could transform into. Fae had been consumed with so much anger last night that a dark part of her leaked through, which caused her to lean over to the dark side of her soul. It was lucky last night that the darkness had not clung onto her, cause If it had I would have had to have killed her out of the fear that her black magic would destroy the world.
"You fainted." I lied to her as I changed into something more suitable for school. Fae decided not to question what I said as she was not good at telling when I was lying. We headed out into the car and to school.

Me and Fae were separated for the first glass which was Science. Luckily someone in knew was in the class- Casper. We came over and sat down next to me on the bench.
"Hey beautiful." He said smiling, "Ready for our date tonight?" He asked with a wink.
I was about to respond when the teacher walked in and slammed the door.
"Hello everyone, I would like to welcome our new student, Dawn to the classroom." He said coughing.~
"Now everyone, take out your textbooks and look over the past few chapters we have done, we shall have a quiz in a moment." He said as he sat down in his chair and put his feet up on the desk.
"About tonight, I hope you like Italian." Casper whispered.
"I have never had it, but I am sure I will-" I said before I was interrupted.
"Dawn do you have something you would like to share with the class?" The teacher, Mr. Howard shouted from the top of the classroom.
"Nothing that concerns you." I replied to him, unintentionally being sarcastic.
He stood up furious and told me to stand up.
"Don't be like that to me young lady!" He shouted.
"I can act like I want." I responded as the whole classroom fell silent.
"How dare you speak to me like that!"
"Speak like what?" I asked him.
"Like... like the way you just spoke to me!" He grew more angry by the second.
"I thought science teachers were meant to be smart." I yawned, getting bored of the charade.
He clenched his fists, "You don't have a degree, but I do. Does that prove I am smart enough?" He said thinking he had finished the conversation, but how wrong he was.
"Like I give a damn about your degree! Its just a sheet of paper." I responded. The class was looking back and forth from me and Mr. Howard like they were watching a tennis match.
His face was bright red as he stormed down the classroom to the bench were I was seating.
Mr.Howard raised his hand about to hit me so Casper stood up in between me and Mr. Howard.
"Don't you dare lay a finger on her." Casper threatened. Mr.Howard panted like a dog out of breath as he stormed back up to his desk.
"Wow, going to hit a girl? That's shallow." Casper said.
"Sir I have one more thing to say before I sit down." I said as Casper tugged on my jumper telling me to sit down.
"Light travels faster then sound, but I am sure you know that since you own a piece of paper! That's why you appeared bright until you spoke." I stated sitting down on the bench next to Casper who high fived me.
"Are you crazy?" He whispered.
"Just a little bit." I said with a cheeky wink.
The rest of that class flew past so fast, I rushed outside the door to my next class before Mr. Howard could grab hold of me to assign a punishment. I reached my next class which was German. Zoe sat next to an empty seat waving frantically as I walked in the door so I sat next to her. The German class lasted must longer as we had to actually learn things such as food in German, which is Essen.
The rest of the day passed and it was time to go home. I went up to my locker to get the books out which I needed for homework. I opened the locker door to find a bouquet of a dozen red roses and a card from Casper, I turned around to see if he was there so I could thank him but he had already left. On the card he wrote that he would pick me up in his car at 8pm and that he could not wait to see me!

When I got home I flung myself on the bed as I was exhausted from all the 'learning' I did today. I had used up so much of my energy thinking about Casper. As I streched out on the bed my hand hit something under the pillow. It was a small black velvet box which contained a red ruby on a chain that you wrapped around your neck. Fae walked in and collapsed onto the bed next to me.
"Why is school so boring." She muffled with her head stuck into a pillow.
"I better go get ready." I told Fae as I walked over to my bag, I rummaged through it trying to find a suitable outfit for tonight. I decided to wear a pair of jeans and a blue shirt with a black skull printed on it. Zoe walked in after I had gotten changed, with 2 movies and popcorn.
"You are not seriously going out in that! I didn't know how bad a vampires fashion sense was!" She said as she rushed downstairs to grab something from her room. When she arrived back In the room she was carrying a black skater dress with red swirls.
"This is better, try it on." She said, tossing me the dress. I got changed into it and looked in the mirror at nothing but blank air, I walked out from the bathroom into the room and Zoe gasped.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing, the dress just looks so good on you! Look at it!" She said pulling me in front of a mirror, not realizing that i could not see myself. She looked in the mirror expecting my reflection, her face turned pale white.
"I guess some theories about vampires are true." She said as she started to plait my hair. Fae looked at me from the other side of the bedroom, she could sense something that I couldn't. I pulled away from Zoe and walked over to Fae who was staring into oblivion. "Fae?" I said as i tried to shake her out of her trance, i started to clip my fingers at her as i tried to snap her back to reality.
"Dawn, you have to be hungry." She said randomly standing up after a minute of me trying to get her to talk. She walked over to the tray which was left on the dresser from that morning and picked up a butter knife. She held the knife firmly in her hand as she sliced through her delicate skin.
"What the hell are you doing?" I Screamed at her as i dived at her, snatching the knife from her hand, her blood oozing all over the floor and my hands. The smell of blood became to much and I rushed into the bathroom locking myself away from the others. My eyes were bright red and my fangs were protruding from my gums. I could not handle the smell as my hunger became stronger. I had to stop myself somehow from hurting them. I looked around the bathroom and saw that there was a mirror with a wooden border, so I pulled the wooden border off the mirror and stabbed it into my leg, blood oozing all over the tiles.
"Dawn? Are you okay?" Zoe shouted as she knocked loudly on the door. I was unable to speak as I was trying to cope with the pain I had inflicted on myself. She managed to open the door with a spare key she had and saw me sitting up against the wall with blood pouring out of my leg. Zoe panicked and searched frantically around the room for bandages.
"No, its okay." I said to her as she started to cut the bandage to suit my cut.
"Its okay?!?" She roared, "You should be dead by now with how much blood you have lost!"
I pulled the stake out of my leg and watched the skin patch itself back together.
"See all better." I said standing up and dusting the dress. Zoe stared at me in awe, as my cut had completely vanished without even a single scar. I felt unbelievable hungry as my stomach ached for blood. Fae looked dazed as she had not fully realized what she had just done.
"What happened?" Fae questioned me and Zoe.
"You had a 'moment'" I told her, unintentionally being sarcastic.
"A MOMENT?!?" Zoe shouted.
"That's all you call that! She tried to make you feed off of her!" Zoe panted, out of breath from all of the shouting.
"You done?" I asked her, she nodded back.
"I did... what?" She muttered as she backed into the mirror, shattering it into millions of pieces. Luckily she hadn't cut herself. I walked over to her to see if she was okay but she did not want me to go near her, afraid that she would try to do something irrational.
"You should be going now, Casper will be here any minute." She whispered, not daring to look at me, she just stared at the floor as she picked up the mirror shards. Zoe walked up behind me and tapped me on the shoulder.
"I will watch her for you and phone you if anything happens okay?" She whispered into my ear. I nodded and walked over to that door, looking at the room which had once been clean, neat and organized but which was not chaotic and messy.
