He was there again. He was there, the barista.

The most chic and cool-appearing barista you've ever seen. Being a coffee maniac, you've tried all the town cafes' best serving drink and you couldn't help but fall in love with this one. And it wasn't even because of the barista, it was true. You came to love this cafe since 3 months ago and this barista wasn't even working there yet. He came a month after; and it gave you all the more reason to love this cafe.

"Taekwoon-ssi, 1 mocha latte and 1 hot cappuccino for the pretty little lady here," the cashier called out.

Immediately, even from your table, you looked over to the summoned barista, Taekwoon. And as per usual, he peered up at the lady a little and nodded; not a single word. Nothing. Over the two months of 'observing', you knew how he was. Always quiet, always replying only with gestures, and speaks whenever he needs to, not when he wants to.

"Is he always that quiet?" Your friend Kimmy asked.

She wanted to follow you today, to see where you always disappear to after class. You didnt tell her that you had a (major) crush on the new barista.

"Yeah, but I think it's just because he doesnt like talking, he's not rude or anything...," you automatically backed him up.

Kimmy looked at you and smirked. You've been friends with her ever since forever and it was obvious that she'd know you inside out.

"Oooh, it seems like our big sister has a crush on the quiet bunny," Kimmy teased.

"Shut up before I break your face," you threatened her.

Ever since high school, people have been tagging you as the 'big sister' for having such tomboy-ish behaviour but still has a feminine touch to your personality. No girl ever tried to get on your nerves and no guy dared to play around with you, let alone get into a fight with you. You weren't violent, but it's just that you live with 3 younger (and wilder) brothers for 20 years that it made you act like a boy. It's because of your mom, who took the time to pamper you like a girl every once in a while, you still knew how to act like a girl.

"You know that doesnt work on me. I can see your inner girly dripping out," Kimmy teased again.

"Where?" You almost panicked.

She pointed at your cheeks and smiled. You were blushing.

"Here's your vanilla latte and your toffee frappe, enjoy!" The waiter came rolling on his skates to serve you and Kimmy's order.

Yes, skates. That was the highlight if one comes to this cafe. The waiters bring you your coffee on their skates; in which they're amazing at doing. The waiter; Hyuk, has been a friend to you ever since you came here.

He was friendly.

But because of that, he notices that you keep peeping at the barista each time you came there. He wouldnt tease you in words, which was hard enough but he does worse; teasing with gestures in which he nudges Taekwoon to your direction each time you peep over. And of course you'd blush. Today was no exception.

"Taekwoon hyung! This customer says she likes her vanilla latte today!" Hyuk spoke into his shoulder walkie-talkie, in which Taekwoon heard from behind the counter.

He looked up and saw you. Then he went back to his work.

"You BRAT, stop doing that! I don't want him to get any ideas," you shouted in whispers.

Slowly, you slumped and covered your face with a tissue. Hyuk was laughing at you. But right then you saw a blonde girl with blue eyes walking into the cafe. You sat straight and coughed in Hyuk's direction.
