"Hey, I was just about to call you," you said calmly from across the line.

"...sorry, I missed you more so I called first,"

Taekwoon said, barely above a whisper.

"Cheesy dork," you laughed.

Taekwoon smiled listening to your laughter.

"Are you coming home this weekend?" The shy male asked in a hoping voice.

"How can I not when you're using that tone with me?" You cooed.

He smiled, clearly embarrassed of the fact that he was so tame with you around. But it wasn't like it was forced, Taekwoon's naturally like that when it comes to you yet neither of you knew why.

"Hey, can I call you back?" Taekwoon asked, catching you off guard.

"Yeah, sure."

Not 10 seconds later, he dialled again but this time, he video called you. And again, you picked up on the first ring.

"Hi," you waved to your phone screen as you saw your fiance's beautiful face.

"Hi."

Both of you were smiling at each other, neither trying to show just how much you missed each other for the past 2 weeks since you knew neither were strong enough to hold on once the dam broke.

"So...you know how I...how I forgot our anniversary last year?" Taekwoon started, avoiding eye contact.

"Yeah...why?"

"I'm really sorry about that...but-"

"Taek, I told you its okay...besides, you made up to it with the handmade 'I'm Sorry Coupons', remember?" You lifted up a small bundle of ringed paper to the screen.

Taekwoon had made them a week after he forgot the anniversary last year; a set of coupons for you to use on him whenever and wherever you want. You had used 4 of them already and there was only 6 left.

"Do you bring that everywhere?" Taekwoon asked calmly.

"Yes because who knows when I might need to use them, right?"

"Right. But don't worry, what I'm about to give you right now is of nothing but genuine love; free of both guilt and the intention of making up for last year. Is that okay?"

"Well...if you put it that way, then...okay."

Taekwoon smiled.

"Are you ready?" He asked, his smile bright as ever.

"Mm-hm."

"1, 2, 3..."

And immediately, his fingers started running across the piano keys; all right where they're supposed to be. He didn't just...play. He made art. His fingers were all dancing to this beautiful rythm and the melody was more than just exhilirating. It was comforting. You were enchanted, just as you've always been and it never ceases to make your heart skip a beat. You thought he played the song wonderfully.

"...so?"

"Hm?" You mumbled, opening your eyes.

"Was it good?"

"It was amazing, Taek. I loved it, so much."
Taekwoon smiled.

"Is that why you closed your eyes...?" He asked innocently.

You nodded, smiling. Oh, he's so adorable, you thought.

"Why are you smiling like that? I find it...ominous."

"And why are you thinking like that? I was smiling like that, because I find you...endearing. And adorable, and very, very, tempting right now."

A light pink blush tinted Taekwoon's plump cheeks. He avoided eye contact and tried his best to supress his shy smile. You smiled.

"...I love you," Taekwoon said shyly as he looked up at you.

"And I, you."
