A Dream.

It was a cold morning at 11am when you lazily woke up to the birds chirping excitedly by your windowsill. You rubbed your eyes and stretched your limbs. The calendar that was under the clock on the opposite wall reminded you that it was Monday, an off-day for both you and your sweetheart Taekwoon.

You slowly started to sit up. Before you got any further, a pair of arms immediately stretched to your sides and clung onto your waist. You turned to the owner of the arms and smiled. Taekwoon was up. He blinked up at you and yawned. Giggling, you covered his mouth with the back of your hand. It remained there for a little while longer for some reason and it made Taekwoon kiss it.

"I dreamt of you just now," you whispered, voice still a little hoarse from last night.

"...what did I do?" He whispered back.

"The usual. You kissed me way too much and you were so touchy."

He cocked an eyebrow, "...touchy?"

"Yeah...I think it was like the first time we were meeting, where I came to a fanmeet of some sort and I had a small banner with your face on it. The banner was adorable," you laughed.

He kissed your hand again, waiting for you to continue.

"You did that a lot once we started to see each other more."

"What, kissing your hand? Did that happen after the fanmeet?"

"I think so. Like...I got a pass, along with 4 other people to personally meet you and we kind of got it going. I think it was because of me always wanting to touch your hand."

"That's nothing new," he laughed.

You pinched his cheek and continued,

"Well that's true. When I was about to leave, I shook your hand the longest - kind of like trying to memorize the feeling of it and guess what did you do?"

"You mean dream me?"

"Yeah, dream you but with the same cheeky personality."

"I guess I...didn't let go of your hand?"

"Bingo. Well, you did but it was only for a second or two. As soon as the others started to leave, you pulled me back in and quickly wrote your number on my hand-"

"-and kissed it."

You looked at him and gave a questioning look.

"How'd you know?"

"Kind of guessed it," he giggled.

You smiled at him and nodded,

"Well you're right. You did kiss my hand before letting me - the shocked, overwhelmed little me go back, wondering 'what the hell do I do now' for the next few years."

He laughed at your exaggeration and kissed your hand again. With your other hand, you lazily ran your fingers through his hair and kissed it. He looked up at you and proceeded to rest his head on your thigh.

"We're awfully clingy today," he sighed.

"Mmm, I'd like to be clingy every day but I always run out of luck. You're too busy in the morning. You always disappear too quickly, always only leaving pillow notes and a cold bedside," you sulked.

"...but I make up for it during the night," he smirked.

"Yeah well, I want a boyfriend, not a rental dildo," you flicked his forehead.

He gave you a hearty laugh, dismissing the flick. He's sorry for it, you thought. Whenever he ignores your forehead flicks, cheek pinches, sulky lips and the lot, he's usually feeling guilty for making you feel lonely.

"I'm sorry. I'll try to be a permanent, well-bought, satisfactory dildo from now on. A dildo that will wake you up and kiss you good bye before leaving for work-"

You burst out laughing.

"That image is so weird- I'm imagining like, a REAL dildo but with your face and height doing all that-" you heaved, clutching your aching sides.

Taekwoon followed, starting with little giggles and bursting into stomach laughs.

"Ah...I hate you, I have stomach cramps now and I'm crying," you wiped a tear.

Taekwoon rolled on his back and laid his head on your thigh. He looked up at you and smiled.

"And then what happened? The dream."

"Oh, I don't know. I think there was something about me having an even deeper obsession for your hands after that - enough to become a kink," you giggled.

Taekwoon watched as you squint your eyes giggling and let out a content sigh. He stretched his arm out to touch your cheek and caressed it with his thumb.

"...you're so beautiful from here."

"And you're so adorable from here," you said, lightly tapping on his nose.

He took your hand and kissed your palm. He let the other one linger in his locks and cupped his own cheek with your other hand, closing his eyes.

"These hands... these hands are mine. They're not yours anymore. At least not yours alone, so don't go letting it be someone else's, even if it's for 'dream' me," he cooed softly.

"God I love you so much," you whined, "I don't think I've gushed enough about how much I really do love you. Your beautiful face, both your big smile and tiny pouts, your kind heart, your warm hands, your hopes and dreams - I love them all so much I don't even know what to do with myself."

You looked at him and met his eyes. They were glistening. He rolled onto his stomach and continued to kiss your hand.

"And I... am the same. There's so much about you that I love, I don't know where to start. You know, I never thought anyone could ever love me that much, but these hands, these hands have shown me love more than any words could ever have. I love you so much too," he sighed.

He sat up and wrapped his arms around you. Out of nowhere, you felt your heart swell, almost like it was going to burst. You grabbed a fistful of his shirt and kissed his collarbone. You kissed a trail all the way up to the back of his ears.

"Enough sweet talk, I'm too emotional I might cry and that's not how our day off is going to be," you sniffed, cupping Taekwoon's face in both your hands.

"I love you," said Taekwoon quietly into your palms.

"I love you too, Jung Taekwoon, so so much."
