*Aurora's Point Of View*

"Fan alert!" A squeaky voice exclaimed.
My attention turned to the voice of a blonde girl leaning lovingly against Brooklyn's shoulder. She smiled at me with shining straight teeth, although the gesture was clearly fake and behind it, along with Brooklyn's expression, was a clear look of annoyance.
"Yeah, Hi." His response was dull and by the look of boredom plastered on his face he was clearly uninterested in a conversation, or uninterested in me.
"Do you need something?" The girl next to him piped up once again. My eyes flickered toward her then back to Brooklyn, who was in the process of brushing the girl off of his shoulder.
"Um no, just forget about it." My cheeks flushed in embarrassment as I quickly made my way back to my desk. I could hear the piercing laugh of the girl as I slumped down In my seat.
"Good morning everybody and welcome new comers!" The teacher practically skipped into the classroom.
"Good morning." The class flatly sang.
__
I couldn't even focus on the lesson, all I could think about was how stupid I looked in front of Brooklyn and that girl next to him. Like god what was I even going to say to him, hey what's up I think you're really cute and oh, were you staring at me earlier? God I should've been more prepared.
Not to self; stop winging things you idiot.
"God I regret failing." Stephen breaks me from my train of thoughts. He uses his notebook to slap me across the head in attempt to get my attention.
I notice everyone collecting their bags, signalling the end of the class. I let out a small sigh and sling my bag over my shoulder before walking out of the classroom and into the crowded hallway.
"Hey, new girl!" Someone shouts between the jumbled voices of British accents. I spin around to see a familiar face holding a goofy smile.
"Scott, you are aware that I have a name right?" I greet the boy who had shown me around school earlier.
"Of course!" He finally makes his way to me and leans against one of the school lockers, clearly exhausted from pushing his way through the now decreasing crowd of students.
"You forgot it didn't you?" I sigh, adjusting the bag strap on my shoulder as I begin to walk down the hall.
"Hey you wouldn't believe how many kids I met today, okay, I had to memories at least a hundred names." Scott explains as he follows.
"Fair enough." I respond.
"What's your next class?"
I pull out my time table and quickly examine it. "Music." I groan.
"Well at least it's the second last class of the day." He grins in an attempt to cheer me up, although I give him an emotionless expression in response.
"You'll be fine love." He pats my back before waving goodbye and rushing down the school hallway.
I make my way to music class with only a minute to spare and chose a random seat next to a friendly looking girl. She turns to me and smiles when she notices my sudden presence.
"We're watching a video today, so you don't have to worry about playing an instrument or anything." She says after a brief moment of silence.
"Really? That's such a relief." I smile.
The girl laughs and extends her hand out for me to shake. It takes me by surprise but I quickly taker her hand as she introduces herself as Libby.
"Aurora." I return the gesture.
"Aurora? My friend has a friend name Aurora, he never stops talking about her." She giggles to herself.
As I'm about to respond I find myself being interrupted by a loud voice entering the room. "Ladies and gentlemen the king of music has arrived!" A tall boy begins to bang his fists loudly against the music drums.
"His name is Bache." Libby whispers.
"You aren't friends with him, are you?"
"Unfortunately I am." She sighs.
I watch as Bache makes his way across the classroom, collecting numerous amounts of high fives as he does. When the class finally begins to settle down from his entrance he makes his way over to me and Libby.
"Hello hello." He chimes.
"Somebody's in a good mood today." Libby greets him.
"Right you are cutie, somebody's also getting laid tonight, I'll give you a hint to who it is." He grins, his stubby thumb pointing back to him.
"You're a pig." She nudges him in disgust and I can't help but laugh.
My laugh seemed to have caught the attention of him because next thing I know he turns to me. "Well who do we have here?" The boy grins at me.
"Leave her alone Bache she doesn't want to shag." Libby says playfully.
"Oh stop Libby I'm only being friendly with her." He winks.
"I'm Aurora." I smile.
"Bache, put you've probably figured that out already." He responds.
"Nice to meet you, king of music." I tease and manage to earn a smirk.
"Hey sorry I'm late Ms. Mary was all up my ass about that stupid English paper I had to hand in." A handsome boy rushes into the classroom and makes his way over to me, Libby and Bache.
"It's all good mate, I was just introducing myself to my new friend here. Her names Aurora, she's from the great country of Canada." Bache introduces me to his friend.
"Hey I'm Isaac." He smiles, extending his hand in which I take and shake.
"Nice to meet you." I smile politely.
Isaac nods and takes a seat next to me, huffing and out of breath from most likely running down the halls.
The teachers soon joins us and rolls in a huge black trolley with a television on top. I relax in my chair as she shuts the lights off and turns on the movie.
The class settles down and as the title flashes across the television the only thing audible is the heavy breaths of Isaac beside me.
