"Come on Dad! The bandits are getting away!" A Knight in green shouts as he chases the bandits. It has been 7 years since yours trully released and defeated Vatti. As you may have figured that knight in green is me. I round a corner into a trap. Yep. I am definitely surrounded.
"There is nothing you can do now boy. Perhaps if you were a real knight you could defeat us." The leader sneers. Anger spikes and my ears twitch.
"Then as a real knight, let me show you how I can defeat you." I say shifting my weight I swing my sword back, then run, and spin. They all fall down. Not one dead but all scared out of their wits. I hear clapping beind me and turn around, expecting to see a little boy in awe. I freeze.
No! Way!
I see another me dressed in black with purple hair and golden eyes with a tint of red.
"Well done Green. You have really improved since we last met." He says with an innocent look on his face.
"Shadow? Wha- Why are you here?" I ask.
"Glad you got to the point. Go back to Hyrule. The shadow world is crossing like it did seven years ago. And you'll need all four if our help to stop it." He says stepping in front of me then fading as he finishes. I stare ahead in shock.
Hyrule? I think.
My father and the few knights accompanying us round the corner.
"Good job Link!" My father says getting to work tying the bandits up. He notices my shock and snaps his fingers in front of my face, snapping me out of it.
"Hey Link ar-" he says and I cut him off before he can finish.
"Zelda!" I shout running to my horse, Epona. I quickly hop on and ride like mad, my father shouting at me in confusion. I rude for a couple of hours and as I near the main city, I see smoke from Hyrule Castle. I go faster and hop off of my horse as I enter the palace.
"Zelda! Zelda where are you?" I shout.
I gasp as I enter the throne room. The guards are on the floor, dead, and Zelda is no where to be found. Skeletal monsters enter the room, surrounding me. I take out my sword even though I know I am hopelessly outnumbered.
"Away!" I hear Shadow shout and a large flash of light fills the room causing all of the skeletons to collapse.
"Come on!" Shadow says grabbing my wrist and dragging me towards the Four Sword Sanctuary. I see him fading as he drags me along.
"Shadow, I'll get the Four Sword. Don't worry." I say twisting my hand free and walking ahead. I can feel him fade and I continue on.
I reach the Four Sword Sanctuary and take the hilt of the Four Sword in my hand.
"Please." I whisper and then pull the sword free. I feel like I am floating for a second and then I see four other figures around me. Red, Blue, Vio, and Shadow.
"Woo hoo! This Blue Link is BACK!" Blue shouts, fist-pumping.
"Blue stop being so childish." Vio says quietly.
"We're all back together!" Red squeals.
"Uh. Yeah. Can we go get Zelda already?" Shadow asks, hiding from the sunset behind a stone muttering some profanities about the light.
"I agree Shadow. Let's go after the sun... sets.." I say as a large hoard of skeletons comes towards us all at once. Red hides behind Blue.
"Im scared Blue..." Red says.
"Get a backbone Red!" Blue shouts shoving Red out if the way and taking up a fighting stance.
"Okay! Red take the far left! Blue mid-left! Vio far right! Spin attack everybody!" I shout and we all take position.
Ah, it's great to be back.
