Feeling Better

Vincent POV

It has been a few days or so since my last adventure with my parents and Ciel, and I have to say that I feel much better.

All wounds that I had were nearly completely healed. Just like my arm. The bone was completely healed and it was only a little sore.

Mother has been doting on me more than usual too. She helped me dress and took care of my wounds, even going so far as to bring me sweets.

However I'm now able to go back to what my life was before being kidnapped along with Ciel.

The only difference was that I now tried my best to pay sylveon to my surroundings. I am trying to learn more about how to be a demon. I haven't spoken to either of my parents about it yet though. I just let myself enjoy the attention from Mother, since Father is starting to think that I'm too old to get such attention.

I got out of bed and started getting ready for the day.

I wasn't as meticulous as Father or even Mother when I got ready. I don't make sure that my hair lays perfectly flat. Actually I liked it better messy.

After a short time I headed out into the hallway and looked around.

No one was there.

Then again that's not really much of a surprise because I have been sleeping in pretty late recently.

Not today though!

I feel much better now so of course I'm going to wake up a bit earlier.

I walked back in my room and checked the time to figure out where everyone might be.

Clerk should be up and ready for the day by now. He should be surprised to see me back to normal.

With that in mind I smiled and headed toward Ciel's study. He spends a lot of time there so it's only logical that he would be in there.

I didn't meet anyone as I walked which was a bit of a surprise but I guess that they're all busy with their chores or something.

When I reached the study door I found it shut, which wasn't a surprise, I knocked lightly on the solid wood before pressing one of my cat ears against it. As far as I know, we don't have any guests so I don't have to hide the ears and tail I got from Mother.

Ciel sighed on the other side of the door.

"Come in."

He must have thought that it was Mother or Father knocking.

I opened the door a little and poked my head in.

Ciel was sitting at his desk and looking at something, not paying attention to me at all.

I stepped inside and closed the door but didn't say anything.

After a minute he looked up and blinked.

"Vincent?"

I grinned and waved a little bit.

"Hi Ciel! What're you doing?"

I leaned over his desk to see what was there, only to find several papers.

"I'm just doing some work. You look like you're feeling a lot better."

I nodded.

"Yes! I'm feeling much better now."

Ciel scratched my ears making me smile a bit more.

"My arm is all better too."

"I see that, here."

He pushed a partially empty teacup toward me. I blinked a little and looked into it.
