Chapter 36

Five years later...

*No one's POV*
Emily had been through A before, but nothing was as strange as what had happened the night Ali went missing.
Her and Hanna and Aria and Spencer all got A texts, but Ali didn't.
And that was what Emily had been trying to find out.
She always knew that she liked Alison better than a friend. And ever since she went missing, she had been suspicious of everyone. She had to find out who took her. She hadn't been able to move on ever since that night. She didn't trust anyone. Not even Hanna or Aria or Spencer.
Not even her mother.
It was easy. Anyone could've taken her. Her mom could have known that she like Ali as more than a friend and wanted to get rid of Ali because she wanted her daughter to be perfect.
Her friends could've got rid of her because they thought that she really hadn't changed. It could've been Mona, Jenna, Lucas, Cindy, Mindy, anyone that Ali used to torture.

It mostly started with the weekend that Ali's brother, Charlie, decided to go away for a month or two. He had been disappearing at random times and showing up just when everyone started to worry. Most people guessed that he was just on the hunt to find Alison.
But a few days later, there was an unexpected visit from one of Ali's old friends, Cece Drake.
Ali had told them all a bit about her.
But the fact that she looked remarkably like Charlie did not come up.
"I've got no place to stay at the moment, so does anyone have any room for me at their places?" Cece asked. The girls had all met with Cece at the Brew.
None of us did.
"Well, I guess I'll just go get an apartment. I'll see you ladies later?" Cece said.
We all nodded then she walked out of the brew.

I'm sorry for not updating in forever. School started last Thursday and I've been so busy. I'll try to update more and I'm sorry if you guys hate how much I changed my story in this chapter.
And I know that it's extremely short, so I'll try to post more.
