Knock knock knock.
The Field's neighbor knocked on the door of their house.
"Pam? Emily?" Mrs. Garcia asked the door. She heard a noise that sounded dreadfully like a gunshot and some muffled screaming. The Fields family has been through enough, with the death of Mr. Fields and Emily's friend going missing last year followed shortly by her friend's brother.
Mrs. Garcia twisted the doorknob and found that it was surprisingly unlocked. She walked through the house and nearly tripped on a chair that was knocked over. She put it back next to the table, then continued to walk. She saw a dark person-sized object on the floor and her eyes quickly searched the room for a light switch. She found it and turned it on. Her head slowly made its way back to the object.
It was Mrs. Fields, unconscious, a hole in her side.

The doctor said that if Mrs. Garcia arrived a minute later that Pam Fields would be dead. Though alive, she was barely conscious and muttered something that sounded like "granpap" and "Emmy". Mrs. Garcia didn't know if Mrs. Fields Had a grandpa who won an Emmy, but it didn't seem like that was what she was saying.
Mrs. Garcia ended up going home after checking up on Mrs. Fields after her surgery, but little did she know what was about to happen.

I'm still laughing from the "Mrs. Garcia didn't know if Mrs. Fields had a grandpa who won an Emmy, but it didn't seem like that was what she was saying."
My winter break starts after this upcoming week so I'm pretty sure I'll be writing more then. But I live in a place where it usually snows in November and it snowed once but it didn't even stick for two hours. It's December now and I'm just upset about the whole no-snow thing.
I'm sorry that this is short though. I really need to get rid of my writer's block.
