Chapter nine

The man held me up by my neck I dangled in the air. I was loosing air  so fast I couldn't even move I felt completely drained. I tried to fight keeping my eyes open as I  threw punches at the man who was strangling me  but they did nothing.   "  Get the Fuck off " I managed to get out I started to calm down and focus I kicked off  his chest using both legs I dropped down successfully landing on my feet.
The man came charging towards then he suddenly Flew to the Side  I turned around to see Omars arm held out
"Hurry up and get in" Skye said as she held the door open after pushing away the other man .

I jumped into the backseat breathing heavy.
The two men started to get up at the same time. " Skye teleport us as far as you can okay" Omar cried out.  Skye closed her eyes tight and all of a sudden we were back at the aquarium in the parking lot.

" are you okay" Omar said looking at me
  I nodded " I need another cheesecake"

" both of those guys had powers
I'm guessing the one that grabbed you had something to do with strength & I have no idea about the other one" Skye looked at me confused " did you just say cheesecake" she asked

" Yeah I need another cheesecake" I said breathing heavily

We looked at each other then soon busted out into laughter.
Our tolerance for near death situations was extremely high which really wasn't a good thing for two nineteen and one eighteen year olds.
" I can't believe she's paying to have us killed" I said
" I can't believe she's only paying $50000 for us to be killed I think I'm worth way more" Omar said sighing
" Right" Skye agreed "We should probably get out of here before they find us I'm pretty sure they followed us after we left here from the aquarium I think that one guy not the one who dragged me out the window but the one who told us how much we were worth. He was with that family the one with the annoying little girl who saw axel" I said

" oh shit he did look familiar" Omar said.
All of sudden the back window shattered I covered Skye with my body bodied as she Shielded axel
I felt that same strong hand on my back trying to pull me out of car  I quickly turned around kicking the strong man's elbow in it made a large snapping sound similar to a firework
The man yelled in agony pulling his now broken out of the car
His partner quickly charged at the car completely flipping it over onto it's back.
Me and Omar hurried using our power to turn the car back on its wheels

" Omar hurry up and drive !! " I yelled

" I can't the key broke in the ignition! " Omar said snapping his head Back

I started thinking about moving the car  all of a sudden the engine gave a clunk & the car started

Omar grabbed hold of the steering wheel. And pressed down on the gas as hard as he could the car took flight and sped off. I looked back to see both men chasing after the car the One with the broken arm lunged into the air  landing on the car roof " Fuck how are they keep up I'm going 70mph " Omar hissed

The man punched through the roof peeling it back as if were nothing. Jumping into the speeding car. I quickly grabbed and wrapped my arms around him using my power to enhance my strength and tighten my grip . The man struggled throwing himself back my head hit the window that hadn't shattered.
Axel ran on to the man's face biting his eye it gushed blood. Omar watched as his ferret attacked through the rare view mirror still speeding. " YAS AXEL FUCK HIS SHIT UP " Omar yelled
The man shook axel off flinging axel into the dashboard. Skye's eyes Darkened into pure black she placed her hand on the man's face his. He started getting weaker and less violent slowly turning pale his lips lost Color and his body stiffened and became cold. Skye snapped out of it and helped me push the corpse of the now lifeless hunter out the car.
Skye Rushed to the front picking up axel starting to heal him with the energy she gained from the hunter she just killed.
" Fuck he's still chasing us " I said letting out a sigh " " Omar stop the car" I said sternly
" Bitch are fucking stupid they're like fucking superman it just took all of that to kill one of them" Omar said pressing even harder down on the gas pedal
"Omar stop the car " I used my power of persuasion
The car hit an abrupt stop the man quickly caught up I stepped out of the car. Knowing exactly what I was doing the Hunter kept running towards me.
I could feel the same power I felt from when I was fighting Dave
" Stop " I said calmly his body obeyed my command his eyes filled with shock. I started to walk towards him power rushing through my veins I felt like I could do anything I wanted " sit "  I commanded " now stay " I said letting out a smirk
I sat in front him as you would in kindergarten. Omar and Skye ran out after me " what are you doing " Skye asked.
" just listen" I replied to Skye

" Who are you " I said still using my power

" Elliott Michaels " he said you could see the struggle in his face he was trying fight against my power.

" why are you trying to kill us and who hired you " I asked

" I was promised a cash reward, times double if I was to get the job done in one day & I don't know who hired me all I know is that she is in charge of a large section of hunters" Elliott Said.

" I bet it's that Bitch Jennifer " said Omar

" don't have to bet it is her someone needs to kill her " Skye said

"  what else do you know " I asked clinching my jaw
" you three are meant to be Killed no hesitation , And there's large scale of other hunter teams looking for you three " Elliott said his face full of struggle as he tried to escape my grasp

" what are hunter teams "  I asked reluctantly

" Each team of hunters is comprised of two to three people they very some teams made up of corrupts some human some with a mixture of both human and corrupt a hunters teams goal is to kill as many corrupts as possible"  Elliott Michaels said

"What exactly is a corrupt"
I asked

" Corrupts are beings with Devine unique power or powers corrupts  only have one or two abilities every corrupts ability match the corrupts personality and traits." Elliott said still trying to Break free

Skye sighed I looked her she seemed confused so did Omar

" do you know were any other teams of hunters are"? I asked

" No " he said

" alright I'm done" I said looking back at Skye and Omar
I looked at Elliott with piercing cold eyes
" eat your tongue and swallow it and if you're still alive  eat your hands, don't stop eating yourself until your dead " I said as I got up & turned to Omar and Skye

" we could have just snapped his neck or something you didn't have to make him eat himself" Omar said as we walked to the car.
" yes I did he fucked up us going to dinner I was hungry so I made him eat himself it only seemed Fair. I turned around to see Elliott's mouth oozing blood he looked like he was in so much pain but he kept chewing on and chewing.

" when Gabe hungry as fuck so he turns part demon " Skye said as she opened the driver Side door.
" I know got that poor man eating himself in the middle of the road" Omar said picking up the now healed sleeping axel from the passenger seat.
I opened the back door using my power I removed the glass from the seats. Then dived in
" I'm sleepy  and  hungry Omar don't you have food somewhere?  " I winced making a pained expression

" yeah Skye can you teleport my food bag in here" Omar asked

" yeah" she said before realizing the key was broken in the ignition. She teleported the bag into my lap it was filled with chips , cookies , bagels, juices, sodas, ramen noodles, fruit snacks, and chocolate and a tone of other stuff.
I grabbed a Orange juice and a bag of sweet chili Doritos
" When did you have time to get all of this" I asked Omar as I passed him his bag my adrenaline was finally going down at the sight of food.
"When we were in 7/11 I took extra ,before I left home I took extra , shit before we left the hotel I took extra, and when we left Liam house I took extra" he said grabbing gummy worms from the bag
" Shit I see"  I said as I snickered
" Ooo Omar do you have any pure leaf tea" Skye asked

" Girl yes yes I do" Omar said passing a lemon flavored tea to her .

"So were are we gonna off too next seeing as though we can't stay here anymore I'm pretty sure they have us on camera at the aquarium" I said as I ate my chips
" you guys choose because so far I've picked everywhere we have been" I continued as I licked my fingers stained with leftover chip residue.
" were should we go Omar? " Skye asked .
I took a sip of my juice soon after I had passed out laying sideways cuddling axel .
