Chapter Twenty-Three

'Where are You'...the text from Danny read.

I swallowed the lump in my throat. I decided to take the petty route and Ask ' I'm out why ?'

I held my phone tightly in my hand. Sitting down on the queen size bed that was already made. Instead of thinking about what Danny wanted I turned my attention to my new room.

The floor was a Soft coffee color carpet. Looking up I seen the wooden log inspired beams above on the ceiling. I turned my head to the left and looked there was a baywindow it had a fluffy brown long pillow as the seat.
I rolled over to lay on my stomach I pulled a pillow out of the many. And pulled into my face close leaving my phone at my side. My bed was tall and comfortable. I didn't notice the table on the other side just to the right of the bed.

It had a little Silver lamp with a velvet blue paisley design.

My phone erupted with ringing breaking me from my train of thought.
I whined at the thought of just knowing who was the on the other line calling.
I picked up my phone slowly opening my eyes and taking a deep breath. I answered slowly well I tried before the full word could even escape my lips.

" Where are you Gabe ! What the fuck happened to you guys "
Danny yelled in my ear. An enormous amount of stress came from him.

" I- " I tried to get out.

" No and why are you acting so funny I just want to know where you are and you know why - " I cut him off

" Calm down you spazz " I said playfully reassuring him I was fine.

" we're fine don't worry "

"What happened to you , you should know better.. what made you-"

" Omar told us how  you would know where we were "

" Fuck Liam's big ass mouth listen just tell me where you guys are okay me and Dave are completely Done with the hunters "

" What's that supposed to mean you both still fucked up and don't you get killed if you betray the hunters "

" listen Gabe Fuck! Ok " he sighed " after everything that happened me an Dave Faked our deaths. And started looking for you guys but after two days there was no trace only a sighting of your bus in random places. "

" yeah because we got smart so what do you guys want" I said I couldn't help but be petty. He did so many things to me then expected me to jump right back into his lap he should know me better by now.

" I want to make up for everything I did I can't take any of it back but I don't want to lose you just tell me where you are so I can make it up to you I promise"

" I'm not telling you where I am but we can meet up if everyone else doesn't mind "

" Okay tell me when you're Ready I love you ok. "

" alright " I ended the conversation and hung up.

I let my head fall heavy back onto the pillow.

After 3 of sitting in silence. There was a knock and then the door open.

" GABER'S. " The voice belonged to Omar.

I quickly turned around and acted as if I was sleep. I could hear Omars footsteps get closer then I felt him sit on the opposite side of my bed.

" Bitch I know you ain't sleep I hear you thinking & I feel yo ass wide awake we connected remember " Omar said Sarcastically as he hit me sight a pillow.

" Biiiitttttccccchhhhhh why my life so poo poo " I said grabbing the pillow he just hit me with pulling it close into my chest.

" How we just got a free house with bomb ass New Friends and food " Omar pointed out.

" I know and I was about to take a bomb ass nights sleep but Danny called me and he wants to meet up "
I answered whining.

" WHEN WAS THIS " Omar asked intensely.

" Like five minutes ago my soul hurts I feel like Mary from precious at the end of the movie when she was like Mmm MMMM mmmm not my baby mmmm mm " I said mimicking the. Movie scene.

" what did he want "
Omar asked he was feeling uneasy and annoyed.

" to know where we were & to meet up and yada yada but uhh like I don't know " I said sitting up still holding the pillow tight.

" well do you want to see him do you think you can see him "
Omar asked.

" Well yea I wanna see him and I can it's just I don't know If I should sad or mad or both so get numb sometimes at the thought you know what! Let's go and see him and Dave" I say Gaining confidence . " SKYE BRING DAT ASS HERE PLEASE AND THANK YOU"

Skye answered my call and came floating into the room.

" what Gabe what " Skye answered Dié and Kat where behind her.

" Can I talk to her in private " I asked. Kat and Dié exited the room .

" We're going to see Danny and Dave tomorrow" Omar told her while I message Danny telling him everything.

" How when was this who said that I was okay with this and where " Skye answered angrily.

" Don't worry I can tell you low key excited. But anyways I'm going to go to bed " I said Calmly as I laid myself down.

Skye slowly walked over to my bed and sat down gently.
" Awe Gabe what's wrong "

" Nothing Or Everything basically but I'm good I'm just tired " I was lying but telling the truth I was emotionally & mentally tired .

" yeah I can tell you the story anyway " Omar answered . They both slowly walked out of my new room giving two worried glances back at me.

They both finally were gone and my door was closed. I was once faced with an empty Room and my thoughts again. I squeezed my phone tightly in my hand & closed my eyes.

I took a Deep Breath then Slowly opened them as I exhaled. I turned my body so I was on my back & stared at the ceiling. I sat just looking at nothing.

" I heard you was up here in your feelings !!! So what's wrong son... "
The voice belonged to Xavier he opened up my door carefully& closed it softly then tip toed over to my bed. I pulled the same trick I did on Omar& pretended to be sleeping. " Bitch I know you ain't sleep"

" UHH YES I AM " I shouted.

" Stop being a cry baby what's wrong " Xavier asked as he plopped down onto my bed .

" My ex " I said groaning as I lifted myself up to face Xavier.

" you mean the crazy hunter one who tried to kill you & your friends? " Xavier asked questioning

" Yep" I replied

" GUUURRRLL I don't know what to tell you but fuck him. He ain't shit PERIOD " Xavier said with a flip of his hair.

" But anyways he wants to see us tomorrow so we gonna go " I said Laying back down.

" Y'all going to fight? " Xavier questioned.

" Noo hopefully not "

" Oh ok because I was be like let's go drag some souls " Xavier said Laughing.

" No we already did that " I said letting out a Sigh.

" Well don't be up Here moping around if you need to talk I'm right across the hall " Xavier said as he stood up and gracefully glided out of the room.

I scrambled around and looked for my phone and put on Lana Del Rey Coca-Cola & sung along with the lyrics " my pussy taste like Pepsi Cola " . No Matter what Lana always helped me feel better. I pushed the thoughts of tomorrow to the back of my head & just Enjoyed the rest of my night listening to music.
