Just a Dallas or a Babysitter?

Chapter 4 • Soccer

~ Hayes' Pov ~ Sunday 11:45 am

Today, I woke up at 11:45 in the morning.

I got up outta bed and headed to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth combed my hair and got into my clothes for the day.

I went downstairs to eat breakfast when i saw Nash, Mom, Johnnie,Sky and Will downstairs in the kitchen. Will wasnt here yesterday because he was with his girlfriend.

"Ok thats sounds great ok see you later!" Mom said hanging up the phone.

"Who was that?" Nash asked

"None of you business" Mom said

"Mom" Nash said

"Ok, it was Mrs Dallas" Mom said

"What she say?" I asked

"Well she asked if our family just us, would like to go watch Kenzie practice at 12:10 and then go watch her play at her soccer tournament later at 1 " Mom said

"Yeah!" We all said

"But what do you mean just us?" Will asked

"Like her coach will let us sit on their benches while they practice and then when they actually play we sit on the bleaches" mom said

"Yea we wanna go!" Sky said

"Ok then hurry up and eat your breakfast and get ready!" Mom said

I havent seen Kenzie play soccer before so yea somethin new.

••Kenzies Pov••

My mom had invited the Griers/Floyds to my practice then my game. So I was pretty excited.

What we needed for practice was just a white shirt we dont wear anymore, our soccer pants, cleats, duffle bag with our clothes and stuff and a waterbottle.

So i put all of those clothing items on, tied my hair up and added a headband.

It was time to go to practice now and so all of us, Cameron, me, my dad and my mom all went outside and into the car we were waiting for the Griers/floyds to come so they can follow the way.

Then they came out got into their cars and we drove off.

When we got to the field, we all got out of the car and I gave him a kiss and said hi to everyone else.

"Hey good luck out ther kiddo!" Johnnie said

"Thank you" I said back

"Hey Melody! We're gonna win today!" I yelled at my other teamate/bestie on the other side of the parking lot

As we approached the field I could see my coach.

"Hey coach Jennifer" I said giving her a hug

"So we gonna win today?" She asked

"YEA WE ARE" I said

"Ok so is this your family?" She asked

"Yuppers!" I said

"Ok then you guys follow me! Kenzie you can put your bag on your number ok sweetie" She said

"K" i said and ran to my outdoor locker which was just a place where you put your belongings but outside. My number was number two so i hung it on the hook with a number 2 on top.

"Ok so ya'll are gonna be sitting on this bench" Coach said

"Kenz go stretch with Melody we have to wait for all the other 20 players to get here." Coach said
