"I hope you all accomplish something in y'all groups yesterday, because we wouldn't be able to meet in our groups today." Miss Shaz announced.
"'This rock,flawless, my rock,flawless, I woke up like this'" Dianne phone started to ring. Everyone eyes light up, continuing the song. It was 'Flawless'. Beyonce can really bring light to a class.
"Dianne, meet me in detention at three today," Miss Shaz added.
Everyone saw that coming.
*bell rings*
"Hey , wait up" a very familiar voice said. Only realizing it was Jedz. But his 'posse' wasn't with him, how strange.
"Please, wait, we need to talk"
Huh? Talk about what? Rocket science? Music? Oh yes, the bet. Urgh
"Sure, save it for later in the park"
"Promise me you'll allow me to speak at the park"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever"
I walked away. Its strange how, for the boy I say I like, I play really hard to get. I'm like Talon. I have a problem.
*at the park*
"Saffiyah, can we talk now," begged Jedz
We've completed what we're going to do for the project, It was very successful, I must say. Pretty boys got brains. After we finish discuss, Nick convinced me, that I should stay just to hang out. I trust Nick better than Jedz, mainly because if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't know about the bet. And Nick doesn't go around playing with other girls feelings. I actually began to get fund of Nick. Weird, right? I mean the guy is attractive.So I practically spoke Nick during the discussion, trying to ignore Jedz and his urge to explain.
I completely ignored Jedz and turning to Nick's direction, blurting out, "you can't be here eating gummy worms and you're not giving me," snatching the pocket size packet worms from his hand.
He makes no effort to take it back but simply chuckles before pulling out another packet.
"So you're gonna talk to Nick, rather than me. Dude, help me out here." Jedz urged.
Aww.That's cute. Ha ha ha.
"Saf, give the guy a chance," Nick agreed.
Now him too! Urgh
I took a deep breath in.
"Yes Jedz, talk,"I implied.
"Saf, I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings by asking you out. I know I shouldn't and I'm deeply sorry. I was being a jerk. Call me whatever names you want. I don't mind. You're a beautiful girl and I'm a fool for messing with your feelings. Just please find it somewhere in your heart to forgive me." He pleaded.
Gosh that's deep! He called me beautiful! I could scream my head out! How am I suppose respond! The boy left me speechless!
"Jedz, I forgive you, but if you really felt sorry, you wouldn't go after my best friend and we both know that you don't like her." I argued
"I-I -I," he stammered
"This is useless," I muttered, before walking away.
