So that day I went to see Jackson at school. We hung out and went to Starbucks after school. Later that day, I knocked at his door because I was at his house earlier and forgot my phone. His dad answered the door. "Can I see Jackson? I forgot my phone here." "Um, Jackson... Isn't... Here..." He said. He looked as if he was crying. "Ok, well, where is he?" I asked with a shaky voice. "He went... Out to the store to get me yogurt and got into a car accident... And well, ... He died." He started crying again. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" I said. And then I started crying.
The next day, Tom asked me what was wrong. "You didn't hear?" I said. "Jackson died yesterday," I said. I started crying. Then Tom started crying. He hugged me and I smiled. I didn't know if I should be happy or still sad right now. Tom told Annie and Annie told Melanie. The word caught on and eventually everyone was sobbing in the hallways. "Jackson was so popular, and everyone loved because he was so kind." Melanie said. "Yes I know." I said. We all went home.
