Chapter Six

"Can I get an iced coffee, a peach green tea lemonade, a passion fruit iced tea, and mocha latte with caramel?" I asked the lady up front. "Okay, that would be $20.46." The lady told me. I gave her the card and she took it. I went back to the table with Annie, Tom, and Ryder. We talked for a little bit. We went up to wait for our order. Tom and I talked for a bit. "You know, Katie and I just broke up. "He told me. (Sorry I forgot to tell u guys about that). "Okay, so what," I said back. But honestly, I was so excited for what's he was going to say next. "So... I was thinking... Never mind. I'll just say it. I like you Julia. Like a lot. I always did. " Then the lady called up our drinks. Oh, really lady! You just ruined my moment!! I turned real red. Like so red Annie mouthed to me "are you okay?" And the lady looked at me funny. "Thanks"I said to the lady as I took the tray with the drinks. I stopped. "So... Yeah, I like you too. "I told him. "So you want to hang out on Tuesday?" We can go to Mario's Pizza if you want." He asked me. Chills went down my back. He was asking me out he was asking me out oh my gosh calm down Julia!!!! I thought to myself. "Okay, I'd love to go. " I said. "Cool. Let's head back to the table." He said. I sighed. Well THAT was something. I thought. We had our drinks.
Ten Minutes Later
"Okay guys, I'm going to go home. Thanks for inviting me to come. It was a blast." Ryder Said. "Yeah us too." Annie said as she looked at Tom. "Okay, I guess that means I'll head back too." I told them.
We all went back home.
As I entered the house, I shut the door behind me and say down on the couch. Wow I need to plan what I'm going to wear on Tuesday!! I thought. I texted Annie about it. Okay, I'll just wait. Im tired. I thought to myself. Then I crashed on the couch as I dreamed about our "date."
