My mom has had enough of me and my 'delinquent behavior.' She has made it her life's mission to get me out of her way and on the next plane to Seattle, to live with my father, his wife and their twin daughters. My mom must have really been past her breaking point to send me to my doom because she knows how much I don't care for rain, kids or seeing my dad and his wife.

My parents had gotten divorced soon after I was born. My mom never told me, but I think she named me Faith because she had faith that I would be want saved their marriage. But it obviously didn't work out that way, because my father is currently in another state with another family and has been for the past 17 years. Till this day, mom is still hopelessly in love with dad and it really bums me out because we all know how happy he is in Seattle with his family. Secretly, I'm pretty sure dad knows it, which makes things really awkward and intense between mom, dad, and my stepmom Camryn when they come to visit. Mom always makes a show to bring up the best of memories and how happy they were before the divorce. My mom can be pretty catty when she feels the need to be.

My mom is driving me to the airport at 3 in the morning. She is really trying to kill me, I need at least 6 more hours of sleep. The car ride there was silent and it wasn't from mom's lack of trying either. She had tried to make conversation but I just wasn't feeling it, I was way too tired to talk. After 10 minutes of changing the radio every few minutes, mom grabs my hand and turns the radio off.

She turns her head slightly to get a better look at me and sighs. "Faith honey. I really think this will be good for you. It will be a fresh start and no one will know you and because of that, they won't be able to judge you on who you used to be but how you are there. You'll make new friends, learn new things and clean up your act." When she said the last part, she wasn't suggesting I do it, she was tell me to.

"Hey, I bet you'll meet cute boys." She smiled teasingly at me. Although I appreciated her attempt to lighten the mood, I just wasn't in the mood to talk. I was not a morning person.

"Mom, I don't want to make new friend, go to a new school, or start over. I like my life just the way it is. I promise if we forget about all of this, I will do better, I'll try harder." I begged. But by the look on her face, i could tell she and I knew that I was making a promise that I wouldn't be able to keep. I can also see that she has already made her final decision and could not be convinced otherwise.

"No, we will not forget about this. Remember the last time you promised to do better and not even 4 hours later you get arrested for break/entering and vandalizing someone's house. She accused. She was fuming at this point, but I was really my fault, it was Mari's.

My ex best friend Mari accused her ex boyfriend Jeremy of cheating on her, so we went to Walmart to buy spray paint and broke into his house when he and his family we out and spray painted his room. In the middle of our mission, Mari tripped over a mysterious of what looked to be clothes and sprained her ankle, so I ended up practically drag her through the house.

When I reached the door, a cop I actually didn't know was on the door step. "A neighbor reported a disturbance here. Do you ladies live here?" Just when I opened my mouth to say 'yes' Jeremy and his parents, the Wilson's, pulled up the drive way. The cop turned to them while I slow tried to slip away with Mari in tow, but he stopped me. "Do you guys live here?" The cop asked the Wilson's. Mrs. Wilson stopped and put her hand on her hip. "Why yes we do. What is the meaning of this?"

"Well a neighbor reported a disturbance here and since they knew you weren't home they wanted me to check it out." "Do any of you know these girls by any chance?" The cop asked. That's when Jeremy finally spoke up.

"Yeah, that's my girl friend and her friend Faith." Mari jerk out of my arms and held on the pouch railing, glaring at him. "Um, ex girlfriend!" She yelled. I closed my eyes and repeatedly told her to shut up in my head. But of course she didn't. "You cheating liar. I know you were that ugly little twig, Nicole!"

"What are you talking about? I have never cheated on you, Nicole is my cousin and you would have none that if you would have spent time with her." Jeremy accused. I rolled my eyes. Of course Mari doesn't know what she's talking about. Wonderful.

Later that day, Mari and I were arrested. While I had to deal with my mom, Mari had to deal with being dumped and a possible restraining order because didn't look like she was going to give up on Jeremy anytime soon.

"In my defense, I was just trying to be a good friend. If it wasn't for Mari not getting her facts straight we wouldn't have gotten caught. Plus, you should have seen the look on Jeremy's mom face when she show his wall. It was totally priceless!" I started to laugh but stopped when I saw mom's face.

"This is exactly what I'm talking about. You think everything a joke, that everyone is going to keep giving you a break. Well news flash honey, if you keep go at the rate your going now, you will not win. Life will bring you down." She said in all seriousness. "With you being here, there is no getting better, if you stay here you will only get worst and I don't want that for you." When she said that, there was so much sadness and exhaustion in her voice.

I flinched. Not just at her tone, but at the truth of her words. The truth was a seriously hard pill to swallow.

When we finally made it to the airport, mom swerved into a parking spot, cutting off about 3 people. When they blew their horns and yelled obscene words at her, she just flipped them off and kept moving. I just chuckled and shook my head at her. She shrugged at turned off the engine and got out of the car and grabbed her purse and keys, leaving me alone. When she realized I wasn't getting out of the car, she walked over to my side and opened the door.

"Faith come on. Get out of the car, were already running late." She said impatiently. Shook my head and dropped it back against the seat, groaning. "Mom, I don't think I can go. I am starting to feel faint and if I go on that plane, I might just died." I closed my eyes and fell back into the drivers seat.

"Oh no you don't. I am so serious right now, if you don't get out of this car this instance I will make you regret it." She warned but I just stayed silent. "Okay, have it your way." When she touched my stomach I knew what was coming. I tried to open the drivers door to get out but she grabbed me. She started tickling me and I screamed so loud, the parking lot suddenly went dead silent.

"O... Kay... Mom....I'm so..soorrryy...please.....please...stop...I'm...sorry!" I pleaded with her. When she finally let up I felt so exhausted. I couldn't believe it. My own mother used my kryptonite against me! I don't know how to feel anymore, this is a serious problem. Before I could think too much into it she asked "Are you ready to go now?" I nodded my head and she popped the trunk so I could get my bags. Her hang her arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer, after I few seconds I finally let up and laid my head on her shoulder as we in the airport.

An hour later, the flight attendant beckoned the passengers to Seattle to board the plane. Mom went with me as I took my spot in line to say our goodbyes.
