A laugh, I scream into the air.
A fall, because they just don't care.
Everyone stares but I don't think it's fair.
I try to hide away, but I cannot finds lair.

They never apologise,
Don't even look back.
I lower my head,
Can't help but feel trapped.

I try to laugh, still attempt to smile.
Pick up my pen, and start to write.
Write like a cheetah, write for a mile.
Because I find the real me, even if it takes a while.
