[Minju pov]

Today is the day. My birthday. I received many birthday wishes from people and guess what. There is someone who didnt wish my birthday yet. Its Kim Chaewon. I dont know why Ive been waiting for her text before bed night. Duhhh.. like we ever texted before. Now its already 6 p.m. I dont think she would come to my birthday party.

Every year my birthday party would be the biggest party in the town since im the only child of my parent. I usually held a birthday party at my dad's hall at his office. However, this year I only held a birthday party at my house because my parents is at overseas. At 6 p.m. people already started to come. With pretty dresses and smart court suit. You can call my birthday party is like a gala party. People would dress up prettyly. I am waiting for the guests at front door. Yuri helped me a lot today for preparation. Even though, we have crews to settle up the party but I was also busy to ensure the part goes well.

"Happy Birthday, Kim Minju." Wonyoung hugged me.

"Thank you so much for coming"

Oh. Yujin arrived same as her.

"Ahn Yujin! You come with Wonyoung huh?" I asked teasingly.

"She just need a ride. Dont think about something else." Yujin answered.

They both are wearing a nice dress that almost seems like a couple. I missed the bus. There must be something happened.

[FLASHBACK]

"...do you like me?" asked Yujin.

Wonyoung is blushing and dont know what to say.

"..right, then ill just assume that was just another game you play with me." asked Yujin and about to leave the room.

"NO! I LIKE YOU OKAY! ITS BEEN A LONG TIME NOW. SINCE YOU HELPED ME CONFRONTED WHO JEALOUS WITH ME BEING FRIENDS WITH KAI. IM JEALOUS TO SEE YOU TALK WITH PEOPLE. ESPECIALLY LIZ. IM SO JEALOUS OF HER. IM NOTHING LIKE HER. SHES WAY MORE PRETTY. I HATE TO SEE HER. I HATE HER. BECAUSE EVERYTIME I SEE YOU THERE WOULD ALWAYS BE HER. WHENEVER I THINK ABOUT YOU I WOULD CAPTURE YOU WITH HER IN MY MIND INSTEAD OF ME. BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IM NOT FOR YOU. I HATE THAT EVERYTIME IM TRYING TO TALK TO YOU. YOU ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT I HAD BAD INTENTION. AND I--"

Yujin kissed Wonyoung to shut her mouth. Then I hugged her tightly

"YES I KNEW IT" said Yujin happily.

Wonyoung just giggle.

[END OF FLASHBACK]

Its now 7 p.m. Hyunjin has come but Chaewon is not here yet. I wonder if shell come or no. 

Then I saw Yena with Yuri chatting. I approach them.

"Yena..." i got cut off by Yuri

"Yena said she will come. Shes busy tutoring someone."

"oh" I said as understood.

[FEW MOMENTS LATER]

Everyone are enjoying their time. Im talking with Hyunjin and the gangs. Im not paying attention with what they are talking about and suddenly I noticed a girl ive been waiting for her presence is around the corner. She is talking with Wonbin, boy that has rejected women and men. The rumor said Wonbin might be into her. She looks happy talking to him. Smiling. Laughing. She seems enjoying that topic. I feel a complex and often intense mix of emotion. Am I jealous? It cant be. 

[Chaewon pov] 

Im talking with Wonbin. He cant stop talking about himself. I feel a bit uncomfortable. I saw Minju is talking with Hyunjin. Lucky him. He just started to like Minju this year and already spend most of his time with Minju. Oh shit. She is looking at my direction.

"You look nice in that dress by the way"

My mind got interrupted by Wonbin words

"Nahh Im not" I laughed

"Thats Minju. I didnt wish her birthday yet. Lets go to her. Eh but anyway is the rumor true about---" 

I cut him off because i know what he was gonna say and I just walk away.

"Hi Minju! Happy Birthday!"
