Delia's P.O.V
We finally get to the restaurant. "Demetrio's" the sign read and i smiled. "Where are we" Jace asks "west side" is all I say before walking in until I notice he isn't next to me so i turn around and he looks mad. "Was it something I said" I question but he is just snapped out of his trance and shakes his head "no it's fine, lets go." We walk in and everyone starts to look at me, soon I am being tackled in hugs and kisses "DELIA!" Demetrio yells and makes his way over "to what do I owe the pleasure" he asks "we're just here for lunch Demetrio" I turn and glance at Jace who looks extremely confused while one of the waitresses flirt with him, I roll my eyes. "A table coming right up"says Demetrio and he leads us to a table and me and Jace sit down "so the regular" Demetrio asks and I just nod and he smiles and walks away "so what was all that back there" Jace asked and I shrug "my parents used to own this place" I smile at the memory of them "yeah where are you parents anyways" Jace asked seeming curious my hitches in my throat as I try not to seem sad "they died when I was 12" I say smiling weakly trying not to cry. "Delia I'm so sorry" Jace says looking at me with regret I just shake it off "it's alright it happened a while back" I say as a tear falls and I wipe it "how did they die?" he asks when I finally stop crying "they were killed by a gang leader" I say, vengeance lace in my voice I look up at Jace who is now frozen. "Oh" is all he is able to breath out "what gang" he continues "the blood dragons" I say getting angry when I look up at Jace all the color had drained from his face "but don't worry I got back at them" I smirk maliciously "you think a gang would be smart enough not to put all there explosives in one room" I chuckle proudly Jace just shakes his head as our food arrives the rest of the lunch was rather pleasant we just joked around and then we got the check and said bye and left. I got in my car and started driving "so you live with who now?" Jace starts "I've lived by myself since I was 12" he looked shocked "how?" He breaths out "well between you and me I might have grabbed a couple of things before I blew the blood dragons lair sky high" I chuckle "wow" is all he seems to say "aren't you worried they'll come after you?" He questions "nope I made it look like and accident and I've stayed of the radar since then" I shrug as we get back to school we get out of the car and go to our next classes. The rest of the day is kind of a blur and nothing exciting really happened. So I out on my headphones for the rest of the day and when it was over I drove to work.
