Chapter Eight

Rae's pov

I stay with Aloura and we get to know each other. I now know that her full name is Aloura Jade Stoaks, her favorite colour is green and that she is an only child. Aloura now knows that My full name is Rae Jeslyn Pensly, my favourite colour is red and that I was an only child too. I havent seen Dane since he brought me in here, I wonder where he's gone?

"Are you okay?" Aloura asks and I nod

"I'm fine just..." I start to say but she finishes my sentence for me

"Looking for Dane" she says and I nod "I think he went to talk to he Alpha" she says shrugging

"Oh" is all I reply

"Are you bored?" she asks

"Very" I say honestly and she gets a mischievous look in her eyes

"Let's go have some fun then" she says pulling me out of the room

"When you said fun what did you mean?" I ask

"Where going out" she says grinning

"Where?" I ask

"In the woods for a run" she says and I get excited, I love going for runs!

"So you coming?" she asks and I nod frantically "Come on then" she says grinning. We walk out of the pack house and slowly make our way to the woods

"Its beautiful" I say in awe as I look around at the forest

"I said the same thing the first time I came in here" she says with a laugh

"Well it is" I say and she nods in agreement

"Go behind that tree and shift" she orders and I listen and go shift. I meet her back in the little clearing thing and shake my fur out. Aloura points her head into the direction of the dark part of the forest and I nod and follow her. We run around the woods and I have to be honest and say that it felt amazing! I haven't run properly in ages! After a few hours we run back to the pack house. I go back behind the tree and get changed while Aloura goes and does the same. We walk into the pack house to see a very angry looking Dane.

"Where have you been!" he shouts at us

"For a run" Aloura answers casually

"Why did you take Rae! I thought she'd been taken" he says angrily

"You wouldn't have noticed if she did anyway, you left her on her own when she didn't have anyone to talk too!" Aloura says frustrated. Dane's eyes widen as he thinks about what Aloura said

"I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking right, so when my dad asked me to go to him I just left you here." he says and Aloura shakes her head

"Well your lucky that I actually like her and didn't leave her there on her own!" Aloura shouts, then grabs my arm and pulls me down the hall.

"Wait!" Dane shouts but Aloura doesn't listen, pulls me into a room and locks the door. We hear knocks on the door but Aloura pulls me through a different door and into a different room.

"Why are we in here?" I ask

"Well I want him to feel bad for leaving you on your own" she says and I give her a confused look

"Why? He said he was sorry" I tell her and she laughs

"Have you ever had a boyfriend?" she asks and I shake my head

"Wow really?!" she asks

"I really haven't had a boyfriend before" I say

"But your pretty" she says

"Um... Thanks but why does that make a difference?" I ask

"Pretty girls usually have boyfriends" she explains and I nod

"I didn't go out, my foster parents didn't let me" I tell her honestly and she gasps

"Your foster parents must have been horrible" she says and I laugh

"They were" I admit "So how long do we have to stay in here?" I ask her

"Um... About an hour, it will make him think your upset and he won't leave you alone like that again" she explains

Dane's pov

I looked everywhere for Rae and I couldn't find her anywhere! I was just about to go to my dad and tell him when he front door opened to reveal Aloura and Rae

"Where have you been!" I shout at them

"For a run" Aloura answers casually

"Why did you take Rae! I thought she'd been taken" I say angrily

"You wouldn't have noticed if she did anyway, you left her on her own when she didn't have anyone to talk too!" Aloura says frustrated. My eyes widen as I think about what Aloura just said

"I'm sorry! I wasn't thinking right, so when my dad asked me to go to him I just left you here." I admit and Aloura shakes her head

"Well your lucky that I actually like her and didn't leave her there on her own!" She shouts, then grabs Rae's arm and pulls her down the hall.

"Wait!" I shouts running after them. Aloura walks into a room and locks the door behind her. I knock on the door but she doesn't answer and continues to ignore me. I feel really bad, I didn't mean to leave Rae on her own I just forgot about her. I know that sounds bad but I was busy and didn't think someone as perfect as her could be real. After a while I stop knocking and slide down on the wall. The last thing I wanted was to upset my mate but I guess I already did that, I hope she forgives me, I don't think I could take it if she didn't forgive me and tries to reject me.

An hour later the bedroom door opens and they both walk out

"Well I'm going to leave you to talk" Aloura says walking down the hall, I turn back to Rae and she smiles at me

"I'm sorry" I say looking away.from her and at the floor

"Its okay, if you didn't leave me then I wouldn't have met Aloura" she says

"I wont leave you alone again, okay?" he says

"Okay" I reply smiling.
