The Big News

Chapter 11.

*laughter could be heard from inside the bedroom, Frida and Agnetha were watching some old comedies on tv, it was kind of like the three stooges only in Swedish* "stop agnetha, stop making me laugh so much My head hurts" Agnetha continued to laugh despite what Frida had said. "I'm sorry frida i can't stop, this show is just too funny and you know you're laughing is making it even funnier, you have one of those laughs that's just really contagious and special, i'm so glad you're feeling better honey, i hate when you're sad or scared" Frida's nose crinkled as she smiled at Agnetha. "I don't like feeling that way either but... i don't know i mean this news is huge and I just want benny to be ok with it, i want US to be ok and enjoy this wonderful moment together" Agnetha wrapped her arm around Frida and smiled sweetly. "You will be ok honey, that man loves you more then anything and anyone in this world, he'd give up playing the piano for you if that's what it took, don't you worry about a thing" The door downstairs opened suddenly and Benny walked inside the house, he hung up his coat and put the keys away. "Anni-frid?" Frida looked at Agnetha and bit her lip, Agnetha smiled and motioned to her to go downstairs, Frida nodded her head and got up then left the room and walked downstairs. "Hi Honey" Frida smiled at him then kissed his cheek "did you have fun?" Benny smiled at frida and kissed her cheek back. "I did but i wish you were with me it would have been more fun that way, how are you feeling?" Frida took his hand and walked over to the couch then helped him sit down. "I'm feeling better now, Agnetha is here and we talked and did nails and such and she told me some things that made alot of sense, honey i need to tell you what i've been waiting to tell you or i'll go nuts again" Benny held her hand and smiled at her "You can tell me anything, please love what is on your mind?" Frida sat down next to him and hugged him tight. "Honey i love you so much with all of my heart and i know music is important to you, it is to me too but right now there is something more important for us to think about, something that will change our lives forever but in a good way" Benny pulled away and looked into her green eyes. "what is it?" Frida sighed and put her hand on his cheek. "Benny i'm pregnant, we're going to have a baby" Benny's eyes went wide, he was in a state of shock. "pre... pre.. what?" Frida sighed again and shook her head. "I'm pregnant love, you're going to be a daddy" Benny stood up and laughed. "i'm going to be a daddy? you really mean it anni-frid? this isn't a joke or something?" Frida laughed back. "no love i wouldn't joke about something like this, i really am pregnant and we're going to be parents, please tell me you're ok with this" Benny grabbed frida and spun her around gently, he kissed her lips passionately. "does that answer your question?" Frida laughed and held on to him, she was relived and all the stress was gone. "yes it does and honey i am so glad you're ok with this, i was so scared you'd be upset or mad with me, i mean we can still be in a band and make music but right now i'll be on and off with the touring because of morning sickness and such, when i get a bigger bump i'll most likely be too tired to dance and such, i can record though" Benny laughed and kissed her cheek. "don't you worry about the music love, you and the baby come first, you're more important then music and i promise you both i will take care of you, i will get you anything you need, take you to all the doctor's appointments and massage your aching muscles, i will never let you out of my sight" Benny screamed happilly and kissed frida on the lips again, he really was truly happy with this news.
