The Big News

Chapter 13.

A couple of hours had past since frida and benny's little talk and cuddle, benny was outside having a smoke and Frida was in the shower getting ready for dinner."there was something in the air that night, the stars were bright fernando" Benny looked up at the window and shook his head then laughed, he could hear his love's beautiful voice and it made his heart beat really fast, he truly loved this woman. "Frida turned the tap off and wrapped a towel around then climbed out of the shower and went to the bedroom to change, she dried off first then put her outfit on, it wasn't anything fancy just a black short sleeved shirt with a pair of black pants and her cross necklace, she wasn't in the mood to really dress up, she still had a little sickness in her but she wanted to go out anyways. "Benny?" Benny heard Frida, he tossed his cigarette then went into the house and walked upstairs, he opened the door and looked at frida. "Honey do i look ok?, it's ok if you say no i will understand and change" Benny smiled and walked over to her, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lips. "love i never saw a more beautiful woman in my life, i mean that with all my heart honey" Frida smiled and kissed his lips back. "thank-you Benny, that is really sweet and means alot to me, i really am very lucky to have you in my life, i love you so much" Benny smiled"i feel the same way about you sweetheart, i love you too and i always will" Benny kissed her cheek. "now let's go get something to eat i'm starving" Frida giggled at benny, he really did love his food but she liked a man with a good appetite. "oh we are too" Frida rubbed her belly softly, benny smiled and took her hand then walked downstairs, he helped her with her coat then got his own on and locked the door behind them, he helped frida to the car and helped her sit down then got in the driver's side, he put the key inside turning it then headed off to the restaurant. 

About 20 minutes later they arrived, benny got out and locked his door then walked around and helped frida out of her side, he shut and locked her door then took her hand and walked into the restaurant, the host walked over and smiled and benny told her they were there with a friend of their's mr stig anderson, the woman nodded her head and showed them to the table, Stig smiled and shook both of their hands then sat back down, benny helped frida sit down and then sat down as well. The hostess handed them a menu then asked about drinks. "I will have a vodka on the rocks" Benny smiled and the hostess looked at frida. "I will have a whis...." Frida thought about it for a minute. "I will have a coke with ice and a squeeze of lemon please" Frida smiled, the hostess took the orders then walked away. "Frida why the coke? we're celebrating tonight, we're going to Poland in a few weeks, it's going to be great and you should treat yourself, have a whiskey or something you can have coke anytime" Frida shook her head. "No not for a few months anyways, i need to stay away from such drinks and other bad habits of mine such as smoking" Stig was confused with frida. "what are you talking about?, i mean it's great if you want to quit but why the sudden change?" Frida and benny both smiled. "Well stig there's a good reason for that, i mean the best reason and it's because I'm pregnant, Benny and I are going to be parents" Stig's eyes went wide and he almost choked on his drink. "Are you serious? Frida i know you like to joke around sometimes and i mean as serious as this is i will forgive you if you're just messing with me" Frida shook her head. "no it's not a joke, i really am pregnant, i took tests, saw a doctor and everything, it's all confirmed that i'm going to have a baby, please don't be mad at us Stig, we can still go to Poland and record and such, i just might need a break from time to time" Stig smiled and put his hand on her shoulder. "I'm not mad frida, i am actually very happy for you two, and yes things will change a bit but we'll all be fine and trips can be pushed aside if we have to, but i like that you wont give up, i've always admired that in you frida, when you want something bad enough you go for it, i know your baby comes first and i would never think different, i really am excited for you two and you know what THIS is the real celebration now, i'll drink for all of us" He smiled and took a sip of his drink, the hostess brought the other drinks and Stig raised a toast to the both of them then they all clinked their glasses and enjoyed their night out.
