I woke up fresh, and not exhausted, at least today I felt happy about today, then on the ship as I woke up trying to hope to not die. I got up, and walked around the island, to see how big it was. After a while I was back at the camp, and I later took my man-made club with my knife, and truly explored the jungle. It was a big island, yet strangely not discovered or shown on any map that he can remember from.

So I looked around this lush world, and found more than just strange fruits. I saw wild, and beautiful flowers, animals, and also strange looking creepy crawlies. Yet I managed to stay away from their routine, because I have no idea what they are, or if they take lightly to strangers like me. At least for all the times that I have been journeying with the crew, I learned not to mess with something I didn't know. So as I journeyed the wild, I grabbed some fruit, and finally found some water. It looked fresh, clean, and beautiful, it was the complete opposite of the liquid I knew on the ship. I looked around the pool of water, and found other pools as well, and later a lake, which then lead to a waterfall. It was the source of the water and of life in this island. I didn't quiet see any of this before, when I first saw the jungle, but it did well on hiding it.

Behind the waterfall was a cave, and it fitted all right as a new shelter. So I prepared my new home, scavenged for food, and later went back to my makeshift home. I took it all down, and used the material I had for to make a bed, as well as for fire. So as I finished, it went back as I found it, a large boulder. With the new materials I had I went back to my new home, prepared a bed, and made the basis to start a fire. After setting up my new home, I went out and found a spot where I can wash myself, and later lied on a warm boulder to dry off.

For a while I got up, and felt bored, so I decided to just go on a walk and appreciate the beauty of the island. But I thought of thinking, on watching the sunset and listening to the sea. I sat on the same rock I lived on, watched the sky and listened to the sea. I then slept and dreamed of my life before, the journeys, the raids, the awful experiences, and the sad tales I can't seem to forget. The crew and I lived in a lawless town, where madness did not end. I have made friends with some of the locals here and there. The friends I had were a great bunch. They were kind, loyal, protective, funny, and trusting. Some of them were part of crews as dangerous as mine. They all came from strange places to find fortune in this large world. We all looked out for each other and cared for each other, like the family I always wished to have.

However this innocent family was not to last, for in due time we would all change. Some of them changed for the better, some for the worst and just a few that never quite changed. A few of them managed to escape this lawless life while some simply embraced it. I found them in all parts of the world in my adventures of travelling, living a good life or a sinful life. Our lives journeyed in so many different paths at times intersecting with one another. Whether on good terms or bad terms, we would all meet each-other one day.

Our lives where uncontrollable, chaotic and simply untameable considering where we have come from. We made the best of what we could, to live or survive. I looked onto the bright orange sun setting into the dark ocean. I have to survive, to keep on living and not giving up. I saw the people I cared about give up on living, and they weren't in the most greatest of states. They seemed soulless, only waiting till death to greet them and take them away from suffering any more. I couldn't give up, I just couldn't and I won't.

I still had hope for tomorrow, for some they would of broke stranded here, but in all honesty it was a miracle that I was stranded here. The people that came into my life were still out there, living their lives ignorant of what has happened to me. Then all of a sudden, there were was a friend that I knew who was strong, brave, independent and most of all had a heart of gold. The person that was filling my mind is someone I care for deeply, but this surge of emotion was too much. I shut it out, and tried to think of something else. However it was of no use, they came in and took hold of my heart.

I closed my eyes and screamed out into the ocean and raged at the sand beneath me. Kicking, punching and screaming as I try to fight back the wave of emotion that came from these memories. It pained me to do it, to try and put all those memories away. To look onward and move on, just like that. My heart ached and throbbed to do it. The world that I saw in the past in such a bright light just grew dark by the present. The memories I was surrounded with, the people I knew and cared for, were corrupted by the unjust situation of my present. My eyes slowly grew open, tears fallen out, and slid so silently on my cheeks. This island would be my only witness of these sad tears, as I remembered of the times of long ago, where just a simple memory of the past can bring ruinous pain onto a lonely person beaten and discriminated by life.
