Chapter 2- Secrets

"I'm not sure about this Winter" Says Susan. "Well I think we kind of have to go" I say. "But what about...or the...we could..." Susan says, not knowing what to say. "WELL it's settled then, we are going in"I say with a smirk on my face. "Fine" sighs Susan. We walk down a old stone stair case into a weird room with machines, tables and strange devices that I do not recognise. "WHAT IS THIS PLACE!" Yells Susan "Shhhhh someone might hear us" I whisper. "Ohh whoops, I wonder what this lab thingy is for" Susan says curiously "I'm not sure maybe it's abandoned or something" "Maybe my dad will know something about it" I Say "Yes, But if its abandoned why did we hear screaming". Then we hear footsteps coming from down a long dark hallway. "Hide!" I whisper. We both run to a weird looking machine and hide behind it. "What do you think there going to do" asks a unknown man in a white lab coat "I don't know honestly" states a unknown woman in the same weird looking coat. "What do you need in here" asks the man, "I just need to get something for the boss" she states, slightly annoyed.  She picks up an odd looking device and they both walk off. We both stare at each other like we have just seen a ghost and neither of us can speak, "What the..."I say.Then we both look to see if the coast is clear and then we both stand up and dust ourselves off. "Let's get out of here" says Susan. I have never seen Susan this afraid before, she is always acting like she's never afraid of anything, but I can understand her being afraid of this.  I nod in agreement and we both run. As soon as we are about to enter the hallway, the entrance closes. "No no no no NO" Susan says with her hands shaking. "What do we do" she asks "I'm not..." I get cut off by a woman's voice. "Hello Girls"
