The four of us stood there for a very long time. The air was getting cold and the sun was setting.
"Nope, nope not gonna do it I refuse to walk through the woods, lets just take the short way, yes the short way." I said as I turned around and started to walk back, when a hand grabbed my wrist and turned me back around. I looked at the hand gripping my wrist in a vise-grip giving it the biggest glare. My eyes raked up to see that the person owning the hand was Kendall. She jumped when my glare fastened upon her.
"Oh no you don't, don't give me that look, if I'm doing this you're doing this too." I looked around at the other girls and noticed that none of them were as scared as I was in this moment of time. Let me just admit that having some sort of guts was never in my DNA. Never have I been into any scary horror movie related shiz niz. The only thing I have ever watched that is scary is Supernatural and that isn't even scary for some people. But right now in this very moment, I was scared shitless.
I looked out towards the deep dark dense trees my mind automatically flashing to the dangerous things lurking around in there. I looked back at my friends and noticed all of them studying me and my reaction. I saw Luci with worry in her eyes, Kendall with the pleading and the confident look she gave me to be strong and Hannah with a nonchalant expression.
"Ok."
That ok signed our fates as we went deeper into the woods.
"See Kinz this isn't so bad look at how beautiful the woods is."
"You're right I don't know what I was afraid of actually." I breathed in the fresh damp air and become one with nature. I was currently leading our little pack of four, only because I was an extremely fast walker and hated walking behind people. Getting over my fear was quite easy and now i'm relishing in the dark mysterious beauty that is presented before me.
"Did anybody find that lady a little bit on the kooky side? Or was it just me?" Hannah asked as she focused on the path in front of her. Her body was stiff and wary, her facial expressions looked as if any moment she would just fall and die. Hannah has never been a very adventurous person, she normally stayed inside and never liked sports or venturing in the outdoors. Which is weird because Luci, Kendall and I have always loved basking in the sun and exploring different places. Hannah on the other hand was a bit of an introvert.
"I think she was more than kooky." Luci responded her words coming out with such passion as if she really believed that women was truly off her nut.
"Maybe she was just trying to scare us as some prank." Kendall suggested , she may of been right but there was something else.
"I don't think she was kidding, the way she acted, her facial expression that couldn't have of been a joke." I furrowed my eyebrows thinking about this. She acted so strange scared even, I remember walking down the street and she was fine. Peacefully watering her plants and only started freaking out once we were at the edge of the woods. She has probably either seen something or heard of something.
"The way I see it she was speaking the truth."
I watched Kendall shiver at the thought of the women.
"If you go out in the woods today, you'd better not go alone. It's lovely down in the woods today, but safer to stay at home."
When Luci started to sing that song I completely flipped and turned to her.
"Do not sing that song." I imitated a shiver running down my spine.
"It's frikin creepy."
"I agree." Said Kendall
"That song really gives me the heeby jeebies."
We all stopped walking as Luci was laughing so hard she was practically rolling across the dirt floor. I was still staring at her my head shaking, when everything just stopped. Luci stilled, Kendall and Hannah had their mouths wide open fear shining through their eyes.

When I felt it. Warm air on the top of my head and on my neck, I felt the hairs on my body rise and goosebumps travels along my arms and legs. With my back turned I looked at Kendall as she mouthed "Turn around." I was hesitant at first, but did as she said. I instantly regretted ever even considering turning around because what I saw was something you could never get out of your mind. Something that would always be etched in and probably start having nightmares about it. This is what you call something you see in a horror film of something out of a book.

There right in front of my face, stood a wolf. Not just any wolf, a wolf standing at 6 feet, with fur as dark as midnight and eyes as red as blood. Nothing as unforgettable as the silver slash across his left eye.

Sorry it's short guys, I haven't written in ages but i've had a sudden motivation to get to the good parts so here it is. Hope you liked it.
