Missing Flame

{12} Day 5- Hatred

Natsu (normal P.O.V)

That dragon was freaking huge. A pure black dragon with blue like markings. It was missing an arm.

"Wha-what is that? What's a dragon doing here?" Natsu asked himself. He could sense the power coming off of that, and Natsu was terrified. Not knowing what to do..

He ran.

He ran.

Fear striked a thorn through his stomach, a man with amnesia running from a humongous dragon. If this is what people, or whatever these creatures that said they knew him were, he didn't want any part of it. Maybe he could live a normal life?

Natsu looked up again and tripped on a tree that had fallen over. The giant dragon heard him and looked down at Natsu. "You." The giant dragon spoke. Natsu gulped, him? What was so special about a man with amnesia?

He felt a presence behind him. The magical power from this guy was off the charts, Natsu slowly turned around. It was a man with black hair and a toga with golden rims and a long white toga. It was kind of hard to tell, but this man almost had a face that sort of looked like him.

Natsu had a strange desire to kill him.

"Not so fast Acnologia." He spoke calmly. "It is not yet time." He looked at Natsu. He gave him a soft look, the kind you give to a younger sibling. Natsu's guard softened a little bit. But something was sending a chill up his spine. "Natsu.." He spoke.

"Does everyone know my name?" Natsu asked. Starting to get irritated, that huge dragon obviously wanted to send him to hell, while this guy with black hair was giving him some kind look. The man softly chuckled, "I'm afraid so Natsu." He spoke calmly. Natsu gave him a weird look before he started putting his attention on the giant dragon hovering above them.

"I do not have time to wait for him." The dragon said, obviously getting irritated. But he did not yet attack, it was almost as if he was waiting for something. "You've waited to battle me for almost 300 years Acnologia, and you're getting impatient with Natsu?" The man next to Natsu spoke smugly.

"Wait, Acnologia? That means-" but Natsu was interrupted by the man next to him. "The memory of Acnologia being your father was a lie, or a fake memory. Which means someone is altering your memories. It's not Lucifer, either." The man next to Natsu spoke. "Well, you know my name, so should I know yours?" Natsu said.

The man smiled. "If you knew it, you would instantly destroy me." He said. "Eh, not really. I have amnesia. The only thing that stayed in my head was my name." Natsu said. "Nani? Zeref, are you telling me that you erased his memory?" Acnologia said, to the man now called Zeref. (A/N: THIS IS THE WEIRDEST BATTLE TRIANGLE EVER. XD)

"No, I did not. It seems someone else has." Zeref said, with a hint of annoyance. 'If he doesn't even flinch to the sound of my name with that damn amnesia of his, how will Natsu kill me?' Zeref thought to himself.

"What kind of dunce erases someone's memory?" The dragon spoke with slight anger.

"NATTSSSUUUU!" Gray Fullbuster yelled. Obviously looking for the pink haired dragon slayer. "It seems the son of Silver Fullbuster did that." Zeref said, returning to his dull eyes and a frown.

"NATTTSSSSUUUUUU THERES A HUGE FREAKIN DRAGON HERE! GET YOUR AMNESIA ASS HERE!" Gray yelled.

At this point Acnologia did a mental facepalm. "I will return in two days. I do not wish for mice to pester me at this time. But be warned, I will not go easy on pesky humans." Acnologia spoke, and I'm that instant, he disappeared.

"Natsu, three days ago Lucifer Moerai promised to get your memories back, and control your death flame." Zeref spoke. Natsu stayed silent, if he could control that death flame, that means no one would get hurt! Right?

"But today I ask you something," Zeref says, catching Natsu's attention.

"What?"

"What would you do, if Lucifer told you to kill me?"

GAH! GOMENSAI IT TOOK SO LONG!

I procrastinate at almost everything! XD
