Natsu's eyes refused to open, he struggled with all his might but they refused to let him see. He tried to feel his surroundings. All he could feel was hard dirt. He sniffed the air, he smelled...steam? Gas? He couldn't tell.
Natsu tried to reach for his eyes and open them. But he felt something covering them, a magic circle maybe? Possible. He reached around him but all he felt was dirt and could hear nothing but his own breathing. Natsu rubbed his eyes and was finally able to open them. What he saw was the traumatizing results of Lucifer's horrifying magic.
But Natsu didn't know that.
Below him was the ground which was charred so black it was like looking into a dark abyss. The blades of grass that used to graze under his feet now felt like sharp spikes. Natsu looked up to see that the crater he has woken up in was about 6 feet tall.
What kind of monster could do this?
Natsu climbed up the steep end of the crater and peeped out of it.
Natsu lost his grip on the grass for a second before getting up quickly in disbelief.
But there she was.
"Lucy?" Natsu muttered so silently the wind took it away as he slowly crawled toward the blonde celestial mage.
Lucy didn't turn around, all she felt was numb and shock. After all, when all of the flesh on your back is burnt so severely, that skin is completely scarred off. It is kind of hard to make movement.
"Lucy." Natsu said louder and collapsed behind her. Did he do this? Was this his fault? Did Natsu really screw up again? "Lucy, I'm so god damn stupid. I messed up, I don't—what do I do? I can't touch you, I-I can't hurt you again. Not anyone ever, please Luce!" Natsu begged as he whipped his head around, seeing if anyone was near and tears were beginning to pour ouf. "I can't—I don't-Mavis what do I do? What do I FREAKING DO LUCE!?"
"Na.." Luce whispered. "Lucy? Lucy! You're okay! Oh thank—" Suddenly, Natsu's eyes went dull and fell into the arms of an aggravated Lucifer.
"That was quite the emotional tracery Mr. Dragneel. I must say, I never realized the emotions you had for such a weak woman. That is quite disappointing." Lucifer said as he sighed at the celestial mage.
"You know, Ms. Heartfilia, I could kill you right now. After all, you have been quite persistent with Natsu. Sadly, he's going to make his decision. And we both know what that is." Lucifer said as he bent down to Lucy's eye level. Lucy's fingers twitched, but nothing else happened.
"But here's what I am going to do, okay? I'm going to heal your sorry ass because that way you can send a warning to the guild. You're so lucky cause you made me mad too. You are going to tell them that Natsu is mine. His little boyfriend Gray, that stupid blue cat, the annoying Strawberry Shortcake, and especially you are never going to see him again. Kapeesh? Good, because this is so much more bigger than some busty blonde saving her pink-haired freak."
Lucifer picked up Natsu and put him on his shoulder. "Toodaloo, bitch."
Lucifer snapped his fingers and him and Natsu disappeared, along with Lucy's injuries.
The celestial mage didn't hold back any tears.
