It's a...date?

I couldn't concentrate after practically asking Danny out. I just threw myself at him. I had to wait 7 days. This week was going to drag on, and I was right. We fought the frightful four on Wednesday but that was the only interesting day all week. Then there was training, I guess because I was new, they drilled me into the ground. I had to memorize techniques, work out, pass the simulators, do homework and repeat almost everyday. On Thursday their was no training for me, there was just extensive reading. If it wasn't bad enough I had school work, now S.H.I.E.L.D was giving me homework too. Friday they let me rest. Thank God. I was hurting in places I didn't know could hurt. I went to sleep crying due to muscle fatigue. I could barely get to the shower. The hot shower calmed me down and I didn't hurt as much. I then heard a knock at the door.

I had just hopped out the shower so I just answered it with my towel around me. Lucky me *sarcasm*, it was Ava, web head, Luke, and the other one. Ava said "we're here to help you with your date." I said "then why did you bring web head and the other one." Luke said "just to clarify, you mean Sam right." I facepalmed before saying "Yes Sam, you're okay. Sam is..... Sam." Sam said a proud "Yeah.Hey what's that supposed to mean?!" I stepped aside and welcomed them inside with a pissed off Sam. He probably saw my amusement so he said " Hey (Y/N)." I turned my attention towards him. He said "nice rack." I teased him and came closer "do you really think so." He was taken by surprise and blushed. I giggled before really quickly getting serious and smacking him. The perv. Peter tried to hold back his laughter. I said "I'm gonna get dressed, I'll be right back." I could see Sam watching me go up the stairs, he just didn't quit.

I came down in a simple sweatshirt and jeans. I asked Ava "so why did you guys come to help me 24 hours early." Ava said "because it's good to be prepared ahead of time, I don't want you screwing this up. Besides I never get to do girl stuff with anyone." I said "again, it would help if they weren't here." She just sighed and said "they came on their own, I tried to sneak out but they caught me." I rolled my eyes. Signalling her to follow me. I led her to my closet. We went through literally everything before settling on my black skinny jeans and my white spaghetti strap shirt with an unbuttoned (f/c) dress shirt over it. I wore my favorite sneakers with it.

After the outfit planning, I kicked the guys out and started watching movies with Ava. We watched my sister's keeper and the fault in our stars. We cried our eyes out. Then we watched mean girls and laughed so hard we put sociopaths to jealousy. Eventually Ava had to go home so I went to sleep. I dreamt of what tomorrow would be like. I finally woke up and got out of bed. I screamed at the terrifyingly ugly creature I saw in front of me. I then realized it was my reflection. Damned bed head and drool could make anyone look bad. I remembered today was my date with Danny. I decided to have a short nap. My short nap gave me 45 minutes to get ready. I freaked out when I realized I overslept. I hopped in the shower and took 30 minutes. I got dressed and I was pulling my jeans on I heard a knock at my door.

I said "come in". I heard the door open and finally got my pants on. I walked out and said "I'm sorry Danny, I overslept and freaked out from oversleeping. I only had 45 minutes to get ready and...I'm not ready yet. Can I get some more time." He nodded in acknowledgement to my situation and giving me permission to finish getting ready. Ran up to him and gave him a hug, thanking him for being a saint. I ran into the bathroom and took another 30 minutes doing my hair and makeup. I put my shoes on and said "thanks for waiting for me."

He said "good things come to those who wait." He took my hand and said "and I have been rewarded." I smiled slightly blushing from the contact. I awkwardly said "let's go then." He smiled a smile that if I was killed at that moment, I'd die happy. He led me out and opened the door for me like the gentleman he is. He had his own car. Needless to say, I was impressed. He opened the door for me again and then got in himself. When we got to the first stoplight, he was messing with the radio. "Danny, what are you doing." He said "looking for tunes. Music soothes the savage teen." I laughed at his philosophy. When I called down, I asked "where are we going." He said "Good things come to those who wait." I huffed and leaned on the door. I just had to wait. "Sadist" I playfully whispered. He chuckled at me. Why is he so cute. I can't wait until we finally arrive.

A/N Sorry for taking a while to update, but it might take longer still because school started for me today, and that means more work, more work means less time for wattpad. Sorry you guys, I'll try to update when I can, so please be patient with me.
