Chapter 4: Meeting the Group

Lily's POV
I wake up in the morning to the smell of eggs. I take a shower, careful not to hurt myself, and get changed into some of Celia's clothes. I was now wearing a black tank top and a black and red striped skirt. I brushed my hair and teeth, then I limp down stairs. I see dad making scrambled eggs and toast. I sit down at the table.

"Good morning!" He says cheerily. "Good morning, Mr. Crowley!" I answer. I hear Hunter come downstairs. He's in his usual; his jacket, a t-shirt, and skinny jeans. He sits at the table.
"Good morning, Lily." He said, still half asleep. "Good morning, Hunter! Did you sleep well last night?" I ask.
"Yea, I just hate waking up in the morning." He says. He rubs his eyes. Celia sits at the table.
"Hey Celia! I didn't hear you come downstairs!" I tell her.
"Yea, sorry. I wake up early. I just went to take a shower. Did you sleep well last night?" She asks.
"Yea, just my normal dreamless sleep." I reply. Dad finishes making breakfast and we all eat in silence. When we finish, Celia and I do the dishes as Hunter wipes the table. I tell them jokes and funny stories. They laugh and they tell funny stories too. By the time we finish washing the dishes and cleaning the table, we're all laughing so hard, we're holding our sides.

"We haven't heard each other laugh like that in along time." They both say, in sync. We all laugh. After we're done laughing, I ask what we're doing today.
"I don't know. What do you want to do today, Hunter?" Celia asks her brother.
"Since your ankle is better and is not hurting as much, we should go to the doctors. After that, we can meet up with the group." He says. Celia and I nod. They help me into the car, and we go to the doctor. He says my ankle will heal in a couple days, so he gives me some crutches. (A/N: Until I say her ankle is healed, whenever I say that Lily is walking, she's using her crutches.)

We walk outside and head to Mai's house. When we get there, Hunter knocks on the door. Mai answers it and invites us in. Inside, Finn and Skyler are already here already. I sit down on the couch as the group hug each other. Skyler and Hunter kiss, obviously, but you get the idea. Then they all sit down, with Celia next to me, Mai with Finn, and Hunter with Sky. This time, I'm not gonna say their names. That messed me up last time.

"So who's this?" Skyler asks Hunter. I can tell she's jealous.
"This is Lily. We met her at the coffee shop." Celia explains. "Hi. Um, my name is Lily Rose." I tell them. They all say hi.
"Well, I'm Finn, this is Mai, and that's Skyler. She's Hunter's girlfriend." Finn explains. "Nice to meet you all." I tell them, ignoring the glare Skyler was giving me.

"What happened?" Mai asked, looking at my crutches. Hunter explains what happened and what I liked. At the word "magic", Mai's eyes had a flash of fear. Skyler also softens up to me, and I can tell she's no longer jealous.
"The doctor said it would be healed in a couple days." Hunter explains. "That's good. Hey! That's just in time for the party." I know exactly what party she's talking about.

"What party?" I ask.
"Skyler's friend is holding a party in a few days." Celia explains. "Oh! That sounds like fun! To bad I'm not invited!" I say.
"Don't worry, girl! I've got your back! You can come! It'll be awesome!" Skyler exclaims. Everyone cheers. I smile.

"I think my ankles good enough to drive, so why don't we stop by the coffee shop so I can pick up my motorcycle." I say. All their jaws drop.
"You own a motorcycle?!" They all scream. I blush and we all start laughing. We drive to the coffee shop and I ride my motorcycle to the Crowley household. I park my motorcycle in their driveway and they all stare at it. Finn starts filming it and Celia asks if she can touch it.
"Just don't scratch it!" I tell her. She smiles, squeals, and nods. Then she, Hunter, Sky, Finn, and Mai all take a turn riding it around the block. They all love it. Celia especially love the colors and the flames.

After awhile, we all go inside and eat dinner. After dinner, we do the dishes, clean the table, and we all decide to have a sleep over all together. Everyone goes home to get their stuff. I ride my motorcycle to my house and pick up the essentials; a toothbrush, (I was using a loner), clothes, a sleeping bag, my phone, wallet, purse, and a couple other things. I ride back to the house. Everyone was there already. We all setup our sleeping bags in the living room, mine between Hunter's and Celia's. We choose to watch a movie. There are horror movies and chick flicks. We take a vote. We all vote for horror.

In the middle of the movie, there was a really scary part where everyone either jumped or screamed. I just started to laugh hysterically. Everyone look at me with weird looks. I blushed.
"Don't look at me like that, assholes! This movie isn't even scary!" I yelled at them.
"It's the scariest movie of all time!" Finn said. Everyone agreed.
"Maybe you just have a mental disorder?" Hunter said. They all laughed. I blushed. It wasn't scary because I've seen scarier stuff. Or at least stuff that made me worry.

Mom...

I start to tear up. I run to the bathroom and I start to cry.

Hunter's POV
I saw Lily start to cry and run to the bathroom. Everyone else did, too. We turn off the tv and run to the bathroom.
"Are you okay, Lily?" Celia asked. She hasn't cared about anyone in a long time. She really cares about Lily. Lily unlocks the bathroom doors and runs into my arms. She hugs me and starts to cry. I rub her back, letting her warm tears fall on my shoulder. I carry her back to the living room. She releases me at we all sit in a circle.

"Sorry guys. I ruined the evening." Lily says with her head hanging down.
"It's ok, Lily. What's wrong?" Mai asks.
"The movie didn't scare me because I've seen scarier things. The scariest thing was when my mom left me. I never saw her again." She says. She puts her head in her hands and starts to cry. Before I can go over to her, Celia hugs her.
"It's okay, Lily. You have us now. We'll never leave you." Celia says to her. They both start to cry. We all tear up and form a group hug, with Lily in the middle. After we stop crying, we decide to go to sleep. We all quickly fall asleep. I fall asleep thinking about Lily.

Celia's POV
At midnight, I get up and head to the bathroom. I summon Blazer.
"I watched the whole thing. Really cute you know." Blazer says.
"What the hell is happening to me?!" I yell. Blazer hugs me. I'm shocked.
"Maybe theirs more to life than just hatred. And maybe their more to us than just hate." He whispers to me.

"You're right. But we're still evil. We just have feelings now. That's normal right?" I ask. He nods. We put on our evil smirks.
"We have to kill the source of what's giving us feelings." I claim. He nods. Blazer then disappears. I go back to my sleeping bag. I fall asleep. In a couple days, we'll put our plan into action. I just have to find out the source of happiness before Hunter and my 18 birthday. Speaking of birthday, when's Lily's birthday?
